The ferries between Helsingborg and Helsingør run frequently and are perfect for day trips. If you enjoy golf, there are also plenty of golf courses in the area to explore!

In a peaceful summer cottage area located high up is this nice red cottage with white knots. The cottage and the area offer you a magnificent view of Lake Viken all the way to Billingen and Kinnekulle. The cottage is well planned and perfect for the small family with children or for 4 people. You are welcomed into a smaller hall. One bedroom on the left with a bunk bed and the other bedroom on the right with a bunk bed. The bathroom has a WC and shower cubicle. Straight ahead comes the living room with living room and dining area in one. The furniture is light and homely. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you could need and a dining area is by the window in the living room. Here you can sit and look out over the lake and the beautiful surroundings. Here in Källebacken as the area is called, there is a marked path leading up to Grotteberget, which offers an even more magnificent view of the area. From Källebacken there are also connecting routes to Västra Vätterleden. If you would like to swim in Lake Viken, it is less than 5 minutes by car. Only 26 km you reach Tiveden National Park. Here is genuine Swedish wilderness in a hilly and wild forest landscape with dramatic fissure valleys, beautiful forest lakes, giant blocks at Stenkälla, views from the Trollkyrkobergen and the beach at Vitsand. Worth a visit is also Forsvik's lock, which was built in 1813, Göta Kanal's both the oldest and highest single lock. Please note: The cottage is not rented out to youth groups. To the lake, where you also have a rowing boat lying, it is about 500 meters. In addition to taking a rowing trip and discovering more of the lake, you can of course both swim and fish. If you rent an engine for the boat, you can go on slightly longer trips. Why not start the day with a morning dip from the jetty? On the large plot you have plenty of space for play and games. Bathroom with own washing machine, toilet, shower and a sink. Not far from the cottage are Bäckaskog Castle and Castle Park. The oldest parts of Bäckaskog Castle date from the early 13th century. On the headland between Ivösjön and Oppmannasjön, a monastery was built and parts of the old monastery church and the monks' kitchens are preserved in today's buildings. Karsholm Castle is also located by Oppmansjön. It is about 15 km to Kristiansstad. Here you should take a look at the well-preserved, historic city center. Also worth seeing is the Church of the Holy Trinity, the Holy Trinity Church. The three boulevards, which have given the city the nickname "Little Paris", are fantastic to stroll around. There are plenty of restaurants, good shopping and museums. Tivoli Park offers relaxation with the Art Nouveau Theater and Cafet in Fornstugan. For nature lovers, we recommend a trip to the biosphere reserve Vattenrike. Here you can go on a bird safari by boat, bike or on foot. The best time to visit Vattenrike is early summer and summer, when more than 130 bird species nest here. You can get to Åhus and the coast in less than an hour by car. This charming holiday home with an associated small house is only 300m away from the lake Hjälmaren, with a pleasant furnished patio and grill outside in one of the corner of the holiday home. (The small house has also a small patio) The holiday homes are situated on a large plot wit many fine green spots where you can play and have games. From here you will have a view over Hjälmaren where there is a nice bathing spot with bridge and a separate harbor. On the upper floor you can find a bedroom, bathroom for everybody, with entrance from the hallway where one double bed is a folding bed (1 sleeping loft). A scenic setting with several fine hiking trails and there are many close attraction sites. During winter you can skate or fish on the ice, perhaps even take a long trip to Örebro with your skates over the lake. (Road by Car = 20km) The pictures on the lake are taken from bathing spot and harbor approximately 300m from the holiday home. There is a travel cot available for small children along with a baby gate.

The holiday home is only 300 metres from a beautiful sandy beach and there are about 20 different lakes within a distance of 10-15 minutes by car. The open-plan cottage has a combined kitchen and living room, with a TV with satellite channel, a DVD-player, and free wireless internet access. There are two bedrooms with two single beds in each. There's also a cot. In the annex you will find a double bed. In the indoor bathroom you will find a WC, a washbasin, and a shower. There's a second bathroom in the annex. The living room opens onto a lovely furnished terrace, and next to it you will find a comfortable conservatory. The terrace has a beautiful view of the nearby lake. The nearest beach is only 300 metres away. If you wish, you can rent a canoe (220 SEK/day or 700 SEK/week). The many lakes in the area are excellent for fishing. A boat is included in the rent and there's also the possibility to rent an extra boat and a motor. If you visit in the wintertime you can go skiing in Isaberg (30-45 minutes away by car). There are many interesting towns within driving distance, for instance Halmstad and Varberg, both lovely coastal towns which are very popular amongst tourists in the summertime.
