The nearest public beach is in Frillesås, which offers both rock swimming and sandy beaches. Golfers can visit Sjögärde GK's 18-hole golf course, which is about 8 km away. Frillesås's center is a charming small community with, among other things, a grocery store and a restaurant. In Bua there is a picturesque small fishing harbor and several restaurants and swimming areas. A trip to Kungsbacka is a 25 km journey, Varberg is 27 km in the other direction and the big city of Gothenburg is only 50 km away.
