Great place and nice cave. Lots of space in and around the home. If you have big spiders including Web, lizards and mice in the house do not mind.

The property consists of half of a cave and th other half of a house that is built against. That gives a lot of space with three separate bedrooms. The interior is old but works fine. The house is at the end of a country road in the middle of the Loire region. It is very quiet but shops and towns are called at least 20 kilometers away. The location is very convenient to visit. Splendid castles We thoroughly enjoyed it.

The area there is to be recommended for nature lovers who return every meal in the apartment or do not want to go eat there because the area is not very tourist friendly!

There are two cave dwellings on the site. Philippe This is dated the 2. Old furniture, old beds and generally dated. However, this is more than offset by the "total experience". Setting is lovely, lots to do and see. Friendly owner with a vegetable garden where you frequently what gets out. When you are invited for a dinner (homemade) aperitif, make sure you first have bacon and eggs. You're so on your head! With children and dog we had a special experience. A wonderful week and we'll be back. ...... But in the other house.

For one week inhabit a cave is a great ervaring.Dit was strengthened by the great hospitality of the verhuurders.Bij arrival was a bottle of wine and a pot of homemade jam klaar.Later in the week we had a delicious homemade pie, egg carton, harricots vert own tuin.Toen we wanted to eat chicken, a chicken slaughtered and prepared for us (delicious chicken whose taste I will never forget). One evening we were taken for a walk in search of the bosdieren. In the first we were afraid for our privacy because the owners live on the same yard and a second rental cave stond. We had no problems with our buren.De cave house we lived in was pretty old and donker.Daardoor called the cave could experience feeling good. For people with allergies, this house is not recommended. The house next door was much more recent, much more light and modern ingericht. We had enjoyed and come back for sure.

We were there on October 12 and spent 4 nights geslapen.De owner is a very friendly guy just unfortunate that he does not speak English and we very little French, but with a little effort from both sides, we came out. Even replacing a lamp gave little trouble really super friendly man.Het actual house is so cool, we felt right at home, it was clean, tidy and a bottle of wine and jar of jam was ready and welcome gift. Even with frost it was easy to do and the humidity we found it better than expected despite two days nachtvorst.Mijn husband has asthma but had no problems. The area is very nice and quiet and there are many castles nearby. Highly recommended for people who love nature and tranquility. It is not wheelchair friendly, but you come away with crutches. I am less agile but for someone who can walk with crutches, it is doable. We certainly think about it again to go into that environment back.

The managers were very friendly to us and our children. They were often along with collecting eggs from the chickens and the like. In Villentrois is a nice swimming beach with playground and a lake, a 15-minute drive. The castle of Valancay is fun for young and old and less than 30 minutes. Walk from the house is fine, both short and long trips are mogelijk.De cave house is beautiful but humid so careful with asthmatics. You actually every day the fire burning.

Thank you for the wonderful time that caused us Philippe and his wife. Special thanks for the constant presence when we had questions. It was as if we had been invited by dear relatives. Thanks also for wine, flowers, fruit pickles and plum cake - delicious! The decor was simple, but it should probably be in a cave dwelling. We felt comfortable.

The location of this particular house is beautiful. Initially be difficult to find by brief directions. The welcome is warm. The first days of rain making it inside the cave it is a bit gloomy. Fortunately after glorious sunshine. The cave itself is simply furnished but offers a huge space and everything is there. In particular, the bedrooms are very cozy. The proximity to the castles is very favorable. Valencay, Chambord, Chenonceaux and zoo Aignan are recommended. For small children, this house is suitable. Well bring a cot for that from the cottage is only suitable for small babies "s.De owner is building a cave house on his property'm very curious about the resultaat.Jochem, Ivonne and Kasper from Rotterdam

After a warm welcome (wine, flowers and jam) started for us one of the best vacation so toe.De cave house for a holiday, we found spacious and well equipped (iron and ironing board, vacuum cleaner, plenty of kitchen utensils ...) the bedrooms are spacious and there is a children's chair and cot. In cooler weather it feels a bit clammy, but this can be remedied by stabbing LIKE THE WIND COMES FROM THE RIGHT DIRECTION (the fire at different pulls smoke more inside than the outside chimney. Too expect too much from the satellite TV, or ability to make a simple video or DVD player to connect to TV, Ostine and other dogs and chickens exerted such an attraction for our youngest daughter, they each animal good morning went wishes for breakfast but where were those kids who had promised her? Altogether we are surely satisfied with our stay at "les Gaulois" The weather was good, a few sluggish days but sunny for the rest and warm (about 25 °).'s tips for trips we got from the owner fell g good with it, so there was the "ville sousterain" and associated mushroom farm, the Parc de la Brenne, where we are in the "base de Loisirs de Bellebouche" us 2 days excellence

We had a very successful spring break. Very quiet surroundings. Very friendly owners. Clean and fresh home. Upon arrival, a bottle of wine and a jar of homemade jam. A huge fireplace that "the evening and the atmosphere at breakfast was lit. Completely furnished, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, oven 15 min, at St-Aigan a really beautiful landscaped zoo with lots of unusual animals which is not seen in the Netherlands and a fantastic show with all kinds of birds of prey that are released with appropriate music. A short distance several castles to visit, even for small children by several falconers upper basin of the seals nice to walk in and around around these castles. Basically go there and enjoy!

We were very surprised when we got there and felt at ease. Unbelievable to live in a cave. The rural area is really something for nature lovers. Unfortunately we were out of season and the locks had limited open. But regardless, it was an unforgettable, adventurous holiday. Even with language difficulties we have understood each other just fine with the "caretaker" Phillipe and his dog "vodka". Although the evening was about 5 ° C, we had always cozy and warm by the great fireplace in the living room and the "rustic" living in a cave made them even more fun. Thank you for this experience.

The first impression of this cave is "cool say", "original". However, the cleanliness of the house left to be desired. We had the pots, glasses and cutlery washing before use, the floor was not very clean, and in some places it was full of flies. The house was also very humid which we sat with a cold after a week. Still small minus is that the owner lives 20 meters across the road, on the same domain, so there is not always a sense of privacy is.Los these disappointments, is to call it. Certainly charming cottage on The area is very quiet and pleasant. It is reasonably well located to visit (Valencay, St. Aignan, Chenancaux, Blois, ...). Area The landlord is very friendly.
