It is a fantastic location, extremely comfortable house with a lot of privacy. Great to relax and unwind. There are no other facilities, with the exception of a small swimming pool. There was no reception on arrival. No problem, by the way: we had an email with the code of the key safe. Fine! One tip: from the main road along Lago Maggiore take the route to this property via BarbÃ©. This is a narrow road, but easy to do. The official road is with a somewhat larger car as we barely had to drive so narrow and winding is that route. Do not!

Very nice view. House is very complete. It is easy to do with sixes. We had taken an airbed for safety. And that way, everyone could sleep well with the sofa bed. Beds are good! And there is even a Weber bbq on the balcony. There were still coal in it. We have put a new bag for the tenants after us. The way there is NOT going through Oggebbio, that road is almost impossible to do. Via the other road via Barbe, after 6 hairpin turns left, then 400 meters and you are there.

Stylishly furnished apartment with wonderful views over Lake Maggiore. The facility needs some revamped again, the scent has the walls and surfaces already something added. The green areas are however maintained regularly. The arrival to the building is a little more challenging and not necessarily recommended for owners of SUVs. Once at the top you will be rewarded with the view of the lake. The elevator is to achieve an absolute relief to the Terraced Houses.

Tip from the houseowner

The Residence is a panoramic residence upon the green hills overlooking Lake Maggiore. Itâ€™s a family friendly place for everybody who loves relaxing in the surroundings of nature with an exceptional view on the lake. A nice swimming pool and solarium are available to the guests and children. The panoramic apartment has two very spacious terrace with stunning lake view, outdoor table, deck chairs. This hillside residence is constructed on a number of levels with a glass elevator offering great views over the lake while you are carried to and from your floor. However, the elevator has been known to occasionally malfunction so be prepared to walk up a few stairs in the event of this happening! For this reason, we recommend that the residence is not suited for people with walking difficulties. The residence is situated nearby the small village of Oggebbio and the charming town Cannero Riviera with many shops, bars and restaurants. From here you can hop on a boat and explore the beautiful lake, its beaches, islands and surroundings in Italy and Switzerland. Many watersport acitivities are offered nearby as well as great opportunities for mountain biking or trekking in the nearby mountain valleys Note: The residence is situated on a hill accessible by a narrow and winding road. Please note that itâ€™s not so easy reachable driving up there the first few times, the resultant magnificent view over Lake Maggiore more than makes up for the high climb. Itâ€™s located almost 2 km from the lake and from the nearest facilities (supermarket, restaurants,â€¦) so a car is necessary.
