A lovely house hidden in the woods of Monthouet. Reception was warm and very extensive. The house was fully equipped with everything you need. And in the area beautiful hiking trails, near nice trips and viewings. But above all, the peace of the house and the environment. We enjoyed.

7 wild bitches enjoyed our weekend away every year to reminisce and supplementing. The weather was bad - rain from beginning to end of our stay - but that was about the only what could be better. Very nicely situated house equipped with all the comfort, well maintained, nicely decorated and certainly spacious enough for seven people. Good sanitary and sleeping facilities, very clean! We were welcomed by the master of the house who mastered the Dutch language (we did our best French do not get out!). On the table was a welcome bottle of wine, always scored well with my girlfriends! received clear explanations about the goings on in and around the cottage and everything was once found in a well-organized folder in which adresses and tips were found for excursions in the area. Ideal base for numerous activities where we, given the weather (and our need for around-the-rich table discussions), underused hebben.Van our annual weekend-away, certainly one of the better addresses. Overall recommendable!

Fantastisch huisje, van alle gemakken voorzien. Wij zat er precies in de compleet verregende week begin Aug 2023, maar ook met 2 kleine kinderen was binnen blijven goed te doen. Het grasveld rond het huisje is geweldig voor de kids en we hebben vanuit het huisje o.a. herten, hazen en een vos zien lopen in het veld naast het huisje. Er heerst complete rust, waardoor de dieren uit het bos tevoorschijn durven komen.
Onze kids sliepen in de bovenste slaapkamer, waar je niets kan horen van de rest van het huis.
Met het moeten meenemen van je eigen beddenlinnen, kregen we pas 3 dagen voor vertrek de bedden maten door. Via een andere bookingssite hadden we gevonden dat de 2p bedden 140x200 zouden moeten zijn, maar dit bleek ondertussen vervangen te zijn voor 160x200 bedden. Wees hier op bedacht, wij hadden voor niets speciaal beddengoed gekocht van te voren.
De 1p bedden zijn de standaard 90x200 maat.
Sommige foto's zijn wat verouderd en kloppen niet meer precies (als in geupgrade) zoals de 2p bedden. En ook is de BBQ niet meer boven de garage ver weg van het huisje, maar nu naast het terras tegen het huisje geplaatst.
De eigenaar is zeer vriendelijk en heeft ook fantastisch ontvangen en korte uitleg gegeven van het huisje.

On arrival we were very kindly welcomed by the owner who gave us a brief explanation of the heating etc, and then a series of tips on fun activities and restaurants in the area. We were very pleased by the house itself. Spacious, clean, modern, all equipped. From the living room, to the large fireplace, we had a panoramic view over a beautiful meadow. In the evening bats, deer and rabbits spotted. We have often rented a holiday home in the Ardennes but this was certainly the best. Also our three young children enjoyed it. Everywhere around the house playroom, forests, streams, everything to do. And in bad weather, a closet full of games and ... Netflix! Most of us enjoyed the peace and privacy! We will definitely come back here, it was a lovely mid-week!

In the dark and the snow had some trouble finding but a phone call to the owner helped us on the right path. The cottage is beautiful no neighbors, quiet, a nice view from the large windows. The road to the bakery was in the snow all a nice walk. A lovely area for walking.

An ideal clean house with all conveniences to make your stay as pleasant as possible (extensive arsenal of kitchen utensils, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, ...). The house is surrounded by nature, and you can make beautiful walks from the house. We often go to the Ardennes, but this region is undoubtedly one of the nicest places to walk or do activities (Forestia, Spa Fracorchamps, Plopsa Coo, ...)

We had a fantastic week in Hexa Gone with four adults and a child. There was a very warm welcome from the owner. The house is fully equipped with an authentic look and decor. The photos do not do the place and the house sufficiently right in our opinion. The location and the garden are ideal. A lot of game runs through the land behind the garden, such as deer, deer, swine, foxes and the like. Great weather all week also helps. There are plenty of short and longer walks to make in the immediate vicinity of the house. Also about 150km of mountain biking from the house. In addition, there is much to do in the area, Coo, museum December 44. In short, a must! We will definitely come back again!

Welcomed on arrival by the friendly owner, who explained everything clearly to us and gifted a bottle of Rosé and homemade jam. The house is very comfortable, kitchen fully equipped. Everything was clean and dust free. The location is beautiful, lots of privacy, quiet and really in the forest. In the evening several times seen wild in the adjacent field (wild boars). In the immediate vicinity there is much to do, from hiking to museums. Check every day well for sign! Villa Hexagon guarantees a wonderful holiday.

Each route starts from the Tourist Offices of the participating Belgian municipalities: Spa, Stoumont, Jalhay, Stavelot, Theux, Trois-Ponts and Malmédy.
In the remarkable site of the waterfall of Coo, the brewery and the restaurant Val de la Cascade
you offer a cuisine led by the boss. Regional specialties such as trout and game in season, as well as raclette and fondue are the hallmark of this establishment since 1960.

The Fagotin , farm animation, located in the heart of the City of Stoumont ( 20 min walk from the house) offers , for your children every day summer rides a donkey (4 or 8 km). Animals, used to children , are very docile . They allow you a unique tour of trails and woods surrounding the house. Do you know at certain times of the year, these donkeys are even placed in pasture field .... located just next to the house !
Looking for a unique leisure combining nature and relaxation ? Come play golf country ! The latter, located in the municipality of Stoumont ( 3 km from the house) you will discover a derivative of the traditional golf game but who practice in fields and even between cows ! The site offers a 12 holes and 1,700 m. Accessible to all children and adults but do not forget your boots!
Did you know that the Germans lost the Battle of the Bulge to La Gleize , a village 8 km from home? The " December 44 " museum in this small village, tells the story of this battle. It is richly documented and many military objects ( over 5000 !) Are exposed . They all have an amazing story to tell! The route is lined with windows and slideshows of realism.
Sports enthusiasts will enjoy either on the ski slopes of the Mount of Mists ( equipped with a lift ) on the slopes skiing ( 3, 5 or 10 km) or toboggan runs and this only 15 minutes from home.
