Excellent reception, very pleasant with lots of information. The rented part of the farm has been beautifully renovated and fully furnished. The kitchen in particular was very complete and left nothing to be desired. Very spacious living room with adjoining kitchen with large dining table and excellent couch. Lighting spacious and adequate. Two gardens are indeed well fenced and we could let our young dog roam free. The small group of sheep in the adjacent field soon became friends with our young pointer. Owner very laid back. in short, well worth the money. Loosening areas nearby (or just by car). Bathroom nice and very spacious.

We (Young couple with 2 young children) really liked it! we were super friendly and the cottage including garden is very spacious and very child friendly. Wonderfully quiet area and plenty of fun things to do in the area (small ride by car) The cottage had almost all facilities, we just had to bring our own towels, and there was something you did not have to knock on the owner and he arranged the, once again Super nice man !!

The conversion of the barn into a holiday residence/home has not been carried out perfectly. An uneven floor and crooked doors. It does give the feeling of being on holiday with a farmer. Beautiful surroundings and a lot of history.

We arrived at our accommodation in Wapse at 3.45 pm and were very kindly received by the owner of the house and guided by holiday accommodation. The accommodation was fine, great garden and lots of privacy. Dpordat we were on the border of Drenthe, Friesland and Overijssel were rr several places on a very pleasant travel time to drive. The nearby area was lovely

Leuk huis, alles erop en eraan. Vriendelijke eigenaar die goed bereikbaar was en alles regelde. Kwam af en toe even vragen of alles nog oké was. Fijn huisje ook, het zit tegen het huis van de eigenaar aan, maar omdat de ingang aan de andere kant zit heb je totaal geen 'last' van elkaar. Mooie landelijke omgeving, zeker in de herfst erg mooi!

Reception was very good and very friendly. The house and garden had slightly larger expected and the garden is not suitable for small dogs (especially for chihuahua "s) Luckily there was only one chihuahua in the five dogs, we found it a shame that this had to be leashed. the gate was not ideal, was an opening where we then have to put a table so that the dogs still could not clear. In the back there were sheep, which we have found nice to look at, they were not anxious but also since the fence if (fence posts) thinner and closer together, the dogs were so on. we thought it was nice that we could barbecue and they also brought a new one because the former was a little wakkel. we could also cozy sit outside. Inside it was very cozy and clean. Downside no dogs in bedroom. Bathroom was very luxurious. Setting was beautiful to walk though you had to drive 5mins. the shops were close. We had a nice holiday and enjoyed . Thanks!

This beautiful farmhouse is located in the charming village of Wapse in Drenthe. The holiday home occupies part of this typical Drenthe farmhouse. Guests have access to a garden with outdoor furniture and play equipment. The garden is fully fenced, so both small children and pets can run around safely. From the house, you can enjoy wonderful hiking and cycling trails, for example, in the nearby, beautiful Drents-Friesewold nature reserve. In Appelscha, you can even walk the barefoot path. This area is wonderful for walking, cycling, horseback riding, and carriage driving. In Drents-Friesewold, you can take a covered wagon ride. Well-worth a visit are the towns of Appelscha, Assen, Westerbork, or the famous Giethoorn. Also worth a visit are the National Basketweaving Museum in Noordwolde or the Valse Kunst Museum in Vledder. For children, a visit to the indoor play paradise Speelstad Oranje is a fun day out. Friesland is a short distance away, and Groningen is also easily accessible. A wonderful place in a lovely accommodation. More than three pets are allowed in the accommodation upon request.
