We had a wonderful week in this beautiful and clean house! My daughter was crazy about Rico the donkey, my husband Camil the goose and my two other children especially liked the swimming pond top. I enjoyed the view of green! This address is a must for everyone! very friendly owners by the way! There is also a lot to experience in the neighborhood! The search in Redu, the donkey walk, the slate quarry, ... were fun to do with children.

A very warm welcome from the owner. An attractively furnished holiday home, as a plus in Christmas atmosphere. Everything is there to ensure a successful holiday with a view of the beautiful nature. The ideal environment to de-stress. The peace, the silence, the sound of the flowing river and the crackling fire do wonders. The cottage is very beautiful and overlooks a large, lovely garden. It is situated in the middle of nature, and you hardly notice that you are on the owner's property. There is plenty of sun in the garden, and the cottage is fully equipped with all conveniences. The only minor downside is that the swimming pond is not inviting because it is not clean, but everything else is perfect.

Very cozy and beautiful home where everything is very neat and well equipped with all modern comfort. Very much light through the large windows with a beautiful view of the nicely landscaped garden and the meadow with donkey. Sunny terrace with garden furniture, from which you always hear the rippling water and can enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Shops at some distance. Very nice walks in rolling countryside with different distances and levels of difficulty. Highly recommended for those who love nature and tranquility!

The house and especially the garden and the river exceeded our expectations. Thanks to the good weather, our children were able to play outside as much as we enjoyed the sun, the peace and the green environment. We have also done many beautiful walks in the neighborhood. The donkeys were a nice extra.

We were there for the third time and the stay was fantastic again. Beautiful and well-kept house. It is nice to enjoy the terrace with the beautiful view of the domain. Good connection to hiking trails and groceries. One downside: the wifi does not work properly. But on vacation this is more soothing!

A very nice and cozy holiday home! The house is situated on a block with several houses, but you don't realize that at all. Because of the location and the view over the garden and the adjacent meadow you get the idea that you are in detached villa surrounded by nature. The house is nicely furnished, especially the living room with a beautiful fireplace and adjoining open kitchen created a cozy and intimate atmosphere. Definitely recommended! The only thing that was a bit awkward on arrival is that the owner does not speak English or Dutch and unfortunately our French was not enough to have a decent conversation. Fortunately this didn't matter at all and the check-in was arranged within a few minutes.

Partly due to the exceptionally beautiful weather we have experienced a recuperative holiday in Le Sart. It really enjoy outside on the terrace, with the splashing water at the bakery. The view and the animals in the garden are always variety. In the area we can make beautiful walks. Walking along the forest to the sheep farm in Acremont for example, is highly recommended. The ice creams are very good. A successful holiday in our constantly surprising Ardennen.De family Boon

Nice holiday stay! Friendly owners. Beautiful views and nice loop walks that can also be done with children. Points for improvement: microwave no longer works so well, sofa is due for renewal and bad pillows. But beyond that, it is really recommended!

House is in perfect order, cozy but very cozy. The Christmas tree on arrival topped it off, and the snow on New Year's Eve was fantastic! in the area perfectly marked walks, enough information about this in the house. Very good beds! Electric fires get things warm anyway! We will definitely be back.

The house was incredibly beautiful and well maintained. The surroundings are beautiful and the donkey is a welcome companion to enjoy breakfast with. However, we were shocked by the fact that there was no coverage in the area and that the WiFi only worked after we had reset it ourselves. The owners do not speak English or Dutch, which is of course not a problem, but it is difficult to communicate, especially without the ability to translate via the internet. The reception was quite messy, the owner (his son we think?) was not completely aware of which of the 3 houses we should stay in and later we were able to figure out how to get there with the older couple and a French-speaking Dutch neighbor. it sat.
I would also like to point out that there was no hot tub available, much to our dissatisfaction. This was one of the requirements on which we had booked the house and afterwards it turned out not only that the hot tub was no longer present, but also that it (if it was there) would apparently be shared with the house next door. (Our Dutch neighbors explained that the hot tub was also in the photos at their house). All this would have been nice to know in advance.
Nevertheless, we still had a nice holiday.

The house was clean and equipped with the necessary comfort. Beautiful garden with a babbling brook next to the house. During the weekdays, the sawmill was clearly audible during the day. Beautiful walks can be done in the area, with a small displacement. There was no wifi and no internet, even to make a phone call we had to go outside. The owner went to have the internet put in order, but nothing came of it. Furthermore, the house met our expectations.

Very nice and spacious house, equipped with all comforts and kitchen supplies. Nice view of the fields, donkey Rico and the horses. The fireplace and the quiet wooded area complete it. Little contact with the owners. Any personal information in a folder about surroundings, bakers and butchers would be welcome! ideal for walks in the woods and to de-stress! Little to no range in terms of WiFi and mobile phone.

Very quiet. It is a pity that the children regularly walk in the garden on the terrace. nothing close in terms of food and drink. Drive at least 5 km for bread or other food. 1 heating did not work, so the stove has to be lit. And that has to be paid extra. We also did not get TV on. Maybe because we didn't get a tour on arrival. Key was on the door (communicated by phone) and if we had questions we could ask the owners who lived next door. Also dominant duck in the yard that sometimes tended to attack. Overall, however, satisfied.

It is a nice house in a beautiful area with the donkey as a pacemaker. A spacious house with all necessary amenities. It is a pity that washing machine and dryer were not present despite the description. Fortunately solved washing possible in another house. Swimming pond not available due to long drought jacuzzi also not available which was a pity. Reception was chaos but all in all a nice week.

Beautiful and spacious accommodation with a beautiful view and a good base towards the Semois, but also towards Han-sur-Lesse. Unfortunately, swimming pond and hot tub were not usable ... washing machine and dryer were absent, but we were allowed to do the laundry in an adjacent house. Friendly donkey that brays very enthusiastically.

The landlord never answered phones!! There is no network there at all, no one was there to welcome us, we had to look for everything ourselves! When we arrived the house was extremely cold, we all got sick, the landlord had to heat the house before we arrived, so people with children I don't recommend it!! And the house is not the same as in the photos, it is much smaller than in the photos
