We enjoyed the beautiful castle and estate, the peace and space, the opportunity to do what you want, the fantastic restaurant, the relaxed atmosphere and especially the owner Kees who is always there for everyone. He is the ideal host.

Very nice accommodation to stay! We were received very hospitably and the atmosphere in the entire complex was very pleasant. Very nice castle with nice things to see and do everywhere. Breakfast was tasty and pleasant to agree on when it was best. Nice big pool and several places to relax in and out of the sun. We were there ourselves with a dog and he was more than welcome here, very pleasant to experience. The amenities in the area can mainly be reached within a few minutes by car, approximately 30 minutes on foot. Within a radius of approximately 60 minutes drive there are many nice villages and towns to visit. In short, we had a wonderful time and definitely recommended to eat in the castle, one of our better dinners of the week!

Hostess was busy in resaurant so quickly show the house but little additional information, host always available for questions so that will come later. Apartment on bg of castle is spacious, complete and nicely decorated. The shower / toilet is special, but if you are not too long (1.75) it all just, You miss a larger sink with mirror. The grounds, pool, restaurant, farm animals and such on the castle grounds are fantastic. But we did not find many activities in the vicinity, so we mostly enjoyed the zebra bath.

Spacious and clean, The outdoor pool hits different on hot days, Super pet-friendly, so my dog had a blast too, The kitchen was fully equipped, so cooking meals was a game changer, Would def come back!

On arrival the owner / manager was unfortunately not present but there was fortunately someone from the staff to lead us to the apartment. The two-room apartment on the ground floor is very spacious. There is no air conditioning but that is not necessary because the walls are almost 2 meters thick, so compared to the heat outside it was nice and cool inside. The apartment is fine, but could do with a maintenance service. Apart from the somewhat small fridge, the kitchen is fine and there is a good bed in the bedroom. The shower and the toilet also work well but unfortunately the space is a bit tight and low for taller people (I am 1.96). Here too everything goes (luckily) because we look back on a very nice and especially quiet holiday. The entire entourage, the swimming pool and the restaurant (where we ate 5 times) were good and our dog had a lot of freedom on the open ground. In short, we had a good time there.

We see been here a week. The atmosphere is very pleasant. It feels a bit like a small village. Owners very friendly and everything pleasant. Food is fine, pool too. Beautiful large estate and nice and quiet. The apartment is, as you would expect from a castle, outdated. The kitchen fairly new, size if you really plan on cooking. etc. then you are missing something (cutting board, bread knife, carving knife, etc). The bathroom can't really be called a bathroom, but a toilet with shower :-) the shower itself is fine. So if you don't value how it looks inside, but you value atmosphere and the outdoors, then definitely do it!

Magnificent estate with very friendly operators who stabbing their soul into this project. The atmosphere was great! We have the cottage in question with two families with five children (2 to 6 years). We found there everything necessary, though the fridge would be a bit bigger. Since it was beautiful weather, we especially enjoyed the beautiful garden and the (fortunately fenced) pool. Also attacked the toys (swing, seesaw, trampoline) popular with the children, if those might be refreshed can agree. When the children were in bed, we could enjoy the hotel's kitchen from the terrace you have a view of the cottage and baby monitors reach far enough. For us that was really enjoying feet under the table, wine there, great food and chat ... An experience you little vacation can find!

Pictures on the site were lovely, unfortunately it was in reality a little less beautiful. It is an old building and the cottage had some flaws and needed some maintenance. The neighbors we heard that the people who had complained to us had been in the cottage on the same flaws as we do, but there was nothing to gedaan.Er enough sleeping space for 9 people, and the beds are wonderful !! but a table model fridge we could with four men from the feet but nine people will be a little on the small side. On arrival we had to find someone who could help because no one was in the restaurant and it was not clear where you had to sign up. The owners are very nice and helpful. For children this is a great place with a fenced swimming pool, trampoline, swings and tennis and boules. There was a relaxed atmosphere and the children had quickly made friends and have great can do their thing on the landgoed.Het restaurant was nice and the sushi was delicious! Great place for kids to have a relaxing holiday.

Superb location. Staying in style, you think when looking at the picture "s. Too bad there is not a full bathroom. Some campsites can better bathroom. The toilet and shower are hidden in a closet in a very small area. If you taking shower, the toilet is flooded. Wet shaving you have to do in the kitchen.

Delightful, spacious cottage on spacious grounds of a large French country house. Kids had a wonderful, large garden at their disposal to play. Pool was not completely clean, but well protected.

You can take a canoe at Brântome (one of the most beautiful villages), visite the prehistoric caves of Villars, and stroll around the local markets and antique shops.
