The chalet was spacious and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, We particularly enjoyed the barbecue in the garden, The only downside was the distance to the nearest ski lift, but it was manageable, Great value for the price!

Arrival was fine even though the owner speaks only French, everything is obvious. The accommodation is dated but well maintained and clean. You imagine yourself in the cupboards in the 1970s with old oak sofas and classic Moselle glasses. Everything else present such as a washing machine, dishwasher and bbq. The river that flows through the garden and falls a few meters is wonderful as a background sound. The Vosges itself is not very touristy and quiet but there is plenty to do if you just want to make a nice car ride for it.

Great house, everything is there, although a bit dated, but that didn't matter to us. It is beautifully sunny, has shutters and wooden shutters, so you can close everything nicely in very hot weather and keep the heat out, which is very nice. As soon as the sun shines there, it can quickly reach 30 degrees or warmer in the summer. What was also very nice was that there is a stream running through the garden with a bench to sit. There is a beautiful garden and a large balcony at the back of the house so you can always sit in the sun or shade, whatever you want. What was less nice was that there is a main road nearby, so you can hear the traffic reasonably well, but "in the evening it became nice and quiet. Furthermore, not everyone will like the fact that there is no Wifi, we found that no problem.All in all, highly recommended as a fairly central base in the Vosges, everything is well within a reasonable time to rijt.De Madame who arranges everything there is a friendly woman.Just a great big holiday home for a great holiday!

The house is satisfactory. It is a bit dated but everything works.
The house is located in a quiet village and offers plenty of activities within an hour's drive. We were 8 satisfied people.

Good house, enough space for 7 people, fireplace works perfectly, wood is available at a reasonable price, terrace is lovely on the sunny side, roof where you can sit by the outdoor fireplace in bad weather, 2 shops with fresh bread and a number of local products 300 meters away, supermarket approx. 12 km. Plenty to do in the area. Especially recommended: drive the route de Crettes over the ridge of the Vosges with beautiful views, go to the top of the Grand Ballon, toboggan on the Markstein, visit wine towns such as Kaysersberg and Riquewihr, walk from the cottage, etc. Landlady is very friendly and flexible. Only point of improvement: note there is only 1 toilet, fortunately separate from the bathroom, and the website states that there is a view of the lake and this is not the case. So please change the description.

This house is more than big enough for a family of 5 (2 adults + 3 children). The house was clean and equipped with all basic necessities. Stream in the garden is fun for the kids. Since the house is not immediately near any activity, we only used this location as a base for day trips (so only for sleeping + breakfast + dinner). Convenient is the supermarket (bread / artisanal products) at 2 minutes walking. In the (slightly further) area there is plenty to do: swimming (in lake), kayak, horse riding, Gerardmer, ...

The description of the house was exactly the same, it was a nice and cozy chalet. We had a wonderful week, the management star was a nice helpful woman, she even brought a bottle of rose even halfway through the week. We arrived too early but that was not a problem. The surroundings are very beautiful and the Gerard lake is a must!

The cabin is comfortable and quiet. The house is equipped with simple (dated) furniture and beds, but everything worked, was clean and tidy and certainly not tired. The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. Very convenient with 8 people. The chalet has recently been renewed on several points. The exterior is provided with a new layer of plaster, and there are disposed electric shutters. From the outside it looks neat. The garden is well maintained and properly ruim.Ideaal is that above the entrance to the chalet is a shed. You can enjoy a trailer or (motor) bike lost. In addition, here is a stone barbecue. Because the back is equipped with glass, you can almost always use the barbecue. This is not redundant, because there is a lot of rain in this part of France. The setting is magnificent. From the chalet denotes no time surrounded by nature. Within a radius of 50km there are several cols (such as Col de la Schlucht, Grand Ballon) with stunning views over the omgeving.Voor who speaks a little French is an absolute must on the other side of the road to the "depot" to visit. It is undisturbed in the house, the location is a good starting point for many companies (mht car) in the near and far. The garden with the flowing stream is great and offers space to play and Erholen.Das house is very spartan, the dishes and also some furniture are partially chipped or worn. For the garden deck chairs would be nice. Pretty expensive labor costs.
