For us it was very important to be able to check in without time limit since the house was accessible with a code. The area was very recommendable with many hiking possibilities. Especially the baker did it to my grandchildren.

Wij hebben en midweek in dit fijne en zeer complete huisje mogen verblijven. Het huisje staat in een rustig dorpje vlakbij de bakker. Het is ongeveer een kwartier rijden van Winterberg. Wij kunnen iedereen die wil gaan skieen en of wil wandelen dit huisje van harte aanbevelen

The house is very comfortable. Kitchen inventory and crockery very complete. Large bedroom with an excellent bed and mattress. The bathroom on the ground floor had been completely redesigned, with a lovely large bath. Although the house is located on a main road, we experienced little or no inconvenience indoors. Contact with the landlord (check-in) went smoothly.

The accommodation was very spacious and tastefully decorated with a small garden. The apartment, especially the kitchen, is well equipped. Unfortunately there is no high chair or baby bed, but the apartment is otherwise very suitable for a family with small children. Elpe is a quiet village. The calm is actually only disturbed by loud motorcyclists, but this applies to many villages in the Sauerland region. You can quickly get to Winterberg, Olsberg and Brilon by car.

Had a fantastic holiday in Elpe. Beautiful house and a very nice, sunny garden. It's all there, luxury bubble bath, two bathrooms, beautiful bedroom, TV, satellite dish, well-equipped kitchen. Games, garden chairs with cushions, a BBQ in the shed, etc. Nice basis for fun trips in the neighborhood. For the owner, there are still points to be gained in the details. Cleaning could be better if only by sight, cobwebs and thick dust on the cupboard, the musty cubicle in the kitchen, a pity. On arrival was told that the bath drain cap was broken. We could shower in the bath but not in the bath. Didn't find a solution either. It was simple, we bought a cap for €1 and the one from the kitchen even fit. After a week the dishwasher broke, this is force majeure. A mechanic was arranged within five minutes (compliment) and a part had to be ordered. The master bedroom is gorgeous, really gorgeous. The other bedroom is noticeably less so. Broken folding chair, several bedside tables, piece of plinth in plain sight. Is this bad no but it would add even more points to the whole if this is solved. Will we be back? For sure we will come back.

A beautiful house fully equipped. A good base for walks in the area and other outings, highly recommended. The only critical point is that it appeared on arrival that not everything was clean.

The holiday home is very spacious and well equipped for a small family. The location is not ideal (close to the main street), so it is sometimes not very quiet. The garden that goes with it is small and sloping, but enough for a game of badminton. There is a wonderful bakery nearby (Südtiroler Backhaus), where you can also eat in the evening.

Arrival was well arranged, we could go straight to the house, even though we were a little earlier than planned. The area is beautiful for walking, I would not recommend cycling, not without an electric bicycle in any case.

The house was very nice, very clean, and nicely located. The only downside to this holiday was that the owner of the house lived next door. As a result, you had less privacy than desired. She came into the garden of our house almost every day and moved our belongings once. This was not a pleasant experience.

Spacious house in every way, nice warm wood stove. Nothing wrong with it. Pleasant quiet location in a very nicely situated village, just far enough away from the busy craziness of Winterberg. Cute red tom who wanted to go inside. Minus: the reception was somewhat calculated (there was suddenly extra "laundry money" charged because I wanted to lie in another bed without this yielding more I think. I did not enter into a discussion, but the dialogue was not welcoming). Well, don't let that stop you from doing this one!

Neat and spacious home.Van all mod cons.Bakker with delicious fresh bread rolls around the corner! Beautiful surroundings and plenty to do and see. Willingen, Brilon, Winterberg and Olsberg are within easy reach.

Cottage was beautiful, spacious and had a beautiful view from the balcony.
The bathroom was almost new. A lovely bath and a separate (rain) shower. Due to the heavy rain, it turned out that there was a leak that ran into the bathroom through the carport. The owner immediately took action and the problem was quickly resolved. Compliments that it was resolved so quickly.
In itself we would have enjoyed ourselves here, but we were unlucky that there was a festival going on. One of the nearest neighbors was appointed as "king" and apparently had a license to play loud music for 2 nights until 05:00 am. 2 nights so no sleep. The owner could do nothing about this and the police did nothing about it. They didn't even pick up the phone after I complained.
That was a bad experience for us.

The house offers everything needed. Everything is there. However, the house is located on a main road. Traffic starts rushing by from 4:30 am. Cleaning also deserves some attention. Never seen a house cleaned so badly before. Cobwebs everywhere and a coffee pot that was completely black inside. Dirty cup and still dishes in the dishwasher. The reception by Mrs. Scholz, on the other hand, was extremely cordial and she was very caring.

The accommodation itself was quite beautiful. We were looking for a holiday home with a (bubble) bath to relax in after the hikes. Unfortunately, on arrival we were told by the caretaker that the bath had been broken since June. The dishwasher also had to be repaired, so everything had to be done by hand..... It was also necessary to wash the plates, dishes and cutlery well first. Spider poop was everywhere. Furthermore, the cottage was fine and a nice base for trips in the area. It would have graced the landlord if it had been indicated in advance that the "luxury" items we had selected the house for were broken. That really put a damper on the stay in Elpe.
