After spending a week of our vacation by the sea, we moved on to Roussines where we stayed for a week in the apartment 'La Bellecour'. We were greeted by the host upon arrival, and he showed us the apartment and all the amenities around it. We stayed in what used to be the pigsty. Throughout the entire property, you can feel that history is still present. We were a bit apprehensive about the heat, as it was expected to be around 40 degrees. But it was wonderful! The apartment provided enough cooling, was very spacious, and tastefully decorated. The beds were made, and there were clean towels, a dish towel, and a kitchen towel. The kitchen was fully equipped with necessities. The family also stays on the property and keeps everything running (in the background). There is plenty to visit and see in the area. A few dips in the pool (which was clean and well-maintained) every day provided enough cooling to stay here during a hot week. It was a week in which we completely relaxed and enjoyed the hospitality. We will definitely come back to see more of the area and enjoy a true vacation feeling!
