Perfect reception in style, beautiful location and a nice big house. Staying next to a castle makes you dream. The property has a tennis court, an animal and you can give your eyes the cost of the three rare mammoth trees in the garden. Real giants! The area is ideal for hiking and cycling. The caves of Han and the charming town of Rochefort are nearby.

Accommodations live up to our spacious expectations and ideal for large families with children and dogs. Very large garden and tennis court quite convenient despite the lack of maintenance of the surroundings. Only downside to the arrival when my son got insulting by a lady (whom we had not seen on arrival ) Because it was outside the garden limits when no one told us that we did not have access to the entire garden.

The interieur of the house is not exclusief but the hole is very nice.
In the front and rear you see space and nature, during the night you can hear sillence.

We had a wonderful week during Xmas. There was alittle xmas tree (how attentive), and with the wonderful fireplace it is a cozy living room. The couches give enough space for 8 people. The spacious kitchen allows for nice dinners, and upstairs is also enough space. The shower is good and the extra bath a nice addition. We had a great time. Nice walks directly outside. Sometimes they were hunting, so no access in one of the forest patches, but there are enough alternatives. It is good to know that heating costs and electricity are not included, and are an extra cost of 100 to 200 euros for a week.

Once embarked on the right church, we knew we had made the right choice, the property is in an oasis of tranquility in a beautiful setting! We were received very kindly and shown around and given the necessary explanations on the functioning of the heating and the lovely fireplace! So nothing but praise ... just makes the boiler a little too much noise, but then in the rest is that perhaps on! Tennis court was sadly outdated ...

Beautiful setting, Christmas tree with lights on in the living room. Had a hard time finding the key, but that was quickly resolved. Manager is helpful. We had a wonderful week.

Spacious holiday home in a rural location on a dead end. Therefore very quiet, but also very bad wifi connection. House is old but tidy. Friendly owners: man speaks Dutch, woman speaks a bit. Few additional costs. Environment is nice: you walk right behind the house into the forest, where you can see a lot of wildlife. Large supermarket in Ciney (15 minutes' drive). Nice trips made to the caves in Rochefort, Château de Vêves and Parc Furfooz (beautiful natural park), Château de Modave, mountain biking and hiking at Domaine de Palogne, where you can also kayak if the water is high enough. Everything about a 30 minute drive.

Ruim huis, hele fijne tuin waar we elke keer de tafel onder een andere boom gezet hebben voor schaduw. De keuken is uitgebreid, maar niet nieuw (zoals de foto's ook laten zien).
Ik vermoed dat voor ons een tijdje geen verhuur was geweest, het bad en de vloer waren wat stoffig.
Aardige host, die frans en Nederlands spreekt.

Beautiful surroundings and beautiful house with a nice fireplace and large garden. You can go mountain biking in the area. If the wifi worked better and if it was a little cleaner I would have rated the house fantastic.

It is a very nice quiet area completely surrounded by greenery. The accommodation met expectations, only there was a layer of dust. This is a shame because it is a nice property. Nevertheless, we had a great time and we did not fall short. The owner is very friendly and helpful.

It is a lovely house with a very large garden. The surroundings are beautiful and the owners are super friendly (also Jean Paul, who is always present as an employee).
We had a warm week, about 30 degrees, so it was wonderful to be in the shade under the trees. The owners had gone to the south of France, but J.P. was present. The dog Susie stayed with our dogs. A nice pack of dogs.
What is really a downside, "it is absolutely not clean in the house". This is not that bad for us, but this time it was very dirty. There was hair in the bathroom, the crockery and pans were not clean and I think this is going too far. A good cleaning crew could solve this.

Beautiful house in a quiet rural area. The house is large and with enough space for 9 people. The house is adjacent to a forest. There is a large trampoline in the garden. If you come for peace and quiet, this is an ideal home. However, there are some points of interest. There are two bathrooms, in one bathroom hangs a shower curtain, in the other bathroom there is also a shower curtain can be hung, because when showering everything gets wet. In addition, it is nicer when a button comes at stand height to hang the shower head. Now you have to hold it, this applies to both bathrooms. Some chairs of the garden furniture are broken and need to be replaced. A few stand-chairs would make the outdoors more pleasant. The couch in the living room is very outdated and may also be replaced.

Large holiday home with potential - moderate location - very poor hygiene - energy-consuming heating Despite promise from owner that the door would be loose on arrival, this was not the case. We had to call the owner and wait for the concierge to open the house. Concierge in itself is a friendly, friendly man, with the slogan demain ... First impression was reasonable, until you look better hygiene not OK, floors not clean, carpet very dusty, kitchen moderately cleaned kitchen utensils and appliances dirty (eg. oven was very dirty inside). Only 1 small baking pan for baking meat for 10 people is not an issue ... Lighting here and there. Heating boiler makes a lot of noise, audible throughout the house and burns fuel oil. The house cools very quickly due to poor insulation and so you need more heating. Bathrooms are somewhat tired, bedrooms are spacious enough. No noticeable cleaning supplies available (a defective vacuum cleaner without handle and a brush without hair not mentioned). The toilets (2) constantly spread an unpleasant discharge smell. From two beds (bunk bed and single bed), slats of the slatted base were missing. From the handrail are nails where you can hurt your fierce! Wifi not or hardly usable, despite mention on website BelVilla.Ligging very quiet location, far away from any village or a shop, which is also a disadvantage nearest bakery / shop is more than fifteen minutes by car. Nothing to see in the neighborhood. Wooded area, very nice for walking, but you may almost nowhere in the woods in the immediate vicinity, so you're there quickly walked away ... Ideal, however, if you're looking for absolute silence! Get out of there by car well done Durbuy, Barvaux, Ciney, ... all easily and quickly accessible. In short, the pictures on the website of BelVilla give the house in a very positive way again.

On arrival we were very disappointed by the house! It was obviously not cleaned. A lot of cobwebs, dog hairs, fly shit and the ground floor had a huge smokers air. Also we had a lot of trouble flying. The toilet 's were in very poor condition and smelled the entire week, even though we have them thoroughly cleaned several times! Luckily, the setting was beautiful, lots of things to do and see.
