Beautiful location, beautiful view, nice owner, peace and space. The cottage is robust and the bed sleeps nicely. Fine wind on the mountain and that is very nice when it's hot. Lovely place also under the vines. Fine lighting in the garden. It is wonderfully quiet but still you are in very nice villages, larger places where you can eat well and do some shopping. Beautiful caves and natural phenomena nearby. Highly recommended and we are happy to come back again. With the dog you can easily reach the river in Balazuc and Vogue. Delicious ice cream in Aubenas on the square in front of Hotel de ville. Large supermarkets in Aubenas and Montelimar. Delicious Sunday market, close to Alba la Romaine, also delicious burgers eaten in the village. Villeneuve de Berg is a nice place for food at Chez Marti, just strolling around the bookshop, a delicious pastry at the master pastry chef or the market on Wednesday. The Aven d "Orgnac is beautiful, 700 steps down (lift to the top) .Valence is a beautiful place, reminiscent of Dijon, but then somewhat smaller.Privas is a nice place to eat and shop. Mirabel, Vogeu, St. Laurent-sous-Coiron, Thuyets, of course you can not miss the gorges with Pont d "arc. Well, and that's how I can go on, so lots of interesting things in the neighborhood.

Complete house in a beautiful location with views on all sides. House is spacious and fully equipped. There is much to do/see in the area. Owners friendly and communicative. It takes some time and patience to reach the house from the village of Saint Pons, but it is more than completely worth it.

After about 3.5 km on a bumpy road we arrive at the remote house. Very quiet. The arrival was pleasant, After a phone call to the owner we received the key. Within 10 minutes the owner was there and showed us around the House.

Kindly received by owner. Cottage was simple but everything we needed was present for a nice stay. Beautiful view from our terrace, very calm due to remote location, only small downside was the road to it, due to the high location, a lot of cornering on a slightly lesser asphalt road.

Beautiful surroundings, nice and quiet, many attractions in the area. We hope to go back again. Contact with managers / owners was pleasant, communication in English.Prima to do with young family, oldest 2 children (7 and 6 years) have been able to play wonderfully in garden and climbing trees. Youngest (1 year, just on foot) we had to keep a closer eye on it i.v. sloping garden. All in all a wonderful holiday.

the arrival was ok and that lady was quickly on site to show us around the cottage everything was ok and everything was on site and it was wonderful at the end of a valley there was just a B&B a little further but very quiet there it was so quiet everything is far away and you always had to go down with a narrow road unfortunate that the area was so arid and that the walking possibility is very limited but madam has assured us that in April it is beautiful and flowery but give it a try then misshien

Lovely place away from everything and everyone, peace and space around you.Very friendly owner, house with all amenities such as dishwasher and washing machine, oven and keuken.Je must be aware that the nearest groceries are 8 km away and you are not as fresh you can pick up sandwiches. Pizza baked in the wood-fired oven was very nice. In short, who is looking for a stay to relax, book a week here !!

Welcoming reception, friendly lady. Cottage was very secluded, ideal for absolute peace! Complete house stock. Only downside: the internet; or the lack thereof. This was via a hotspot (mobile): connection was possible but nothing else: no surfing, no reading emails, .... Unfortunately, the house is remote so reception via the operator was already quite difficult (indoors even no reception); decent wifi had been welcome. This reported to owner on departure. According to her, this was due to a breakdown of cell phone mast in the area ... Obviously, this did not spoil our holiday. Everything else top! The last 4 km a narrow job but very easy to do. So don't be put off by this. House is not fenced and dogs had to stay on a lead (my own fault, did not pay attention to this when booking). Also more than enough to do within a radius of 50 km. It was a nice, relaxing week

As in other reviews already written the access road is a uitdaging.Na a few days you get used to it, but every time but we hope you no oncoming tegenkomt.De environment is really stunning.The cabin is nice and on the terrace under the grape vine covered pergola, one can enjoy while sipping a local wijntje.In previous reviews complaining about the quality of the mattresses where the springs were palpable. These will be replaced, because there was nothing to gloss merken.Kleine the location is definitely not suitable for small children. At the edge of the plot goes between the trees very steeply down, and a separation is niet.Maar for peace, quiet and a fantastic view this is a good choice.

We have had a wonderful holiday, the rest was saved and the setting very nice. The keyholder was very welcoming. Consider the way up, after arriving at first I thought I'm not going down for 2 weeks but after a few days I was used to it coming from vertigo. It is a must to go there next year weer.Rita

Great location if you love nature. The road going there is an adventure (approximately 4 km narrow and winding, with the end piece as a whole style!). All day (and night) only natural sounds, often a breeze, so it's not too hot. The house is clean and complete and has a cozy terrace. There you can completely relax. The area is interesting enough with all these old towns and larger cities like Montelimar Aubenas. One minus the mattresses on the beds are not very good, en even those old-fashioned with spirals so you wake up with pain in your bones (put a thick blanket over). Rarely a good mattress found in a holiday home in France.

We loved the house and we loved the surrounding countryside. The owner is very friendly and helpful. I think that the requirement to bring you own bedding, etc. might make some people reluctant to go, and it can only work if you drive, rather than fly. And maybe that limits the people who may choose this as a holiday home. Our children are grown up now and it may not be such a great place to go with children. But, for us, it was quite perfect.

A very nice property for those who love peace and quiet, which is at the end of a 4 km long, narrow, winding road. The house has everything you can possibly need and has unobstructed views. The car is at the door. There is TV and there was scope for our mobile phone. For internet (wifi) you have 4 miles back to the village. An Inter Marche is a 20 min drive away. R nFor (young) children there around the house or near any swimming or playing space. Note that the two bedrooms upstairs for some limited headroom.

What privacy and peace are concerned, we have never had a better place. You hear only natural r ngeluiden and the view is magnificent The cottage is cozy in focus but the sofa has been r had nbeste time. s, one can sit outside in good weather on the terrace. r nIn the evening environment can make beautiful trips by car and you can see many hikers. r nThe cottage has electric heating and a wood burner. Whether there is firewood I did not ask. But the owner is friendly.
