The house is large, clean and has, in addition to the listed appliances, a washing machine, hair dryer, iron, clothes rack, etc. The windows in the bedrooms are fitted with mosquito nets. The veranda is really lovely with a fantastic view. The garden is large and enclosed (high enough for a medium-sized dog). Sometimes the horse comes by for a pat on its snout. There are (stair) gates in the house and on the outside stairs. There is enough space in and around the house to lie and sit relaxed. We did not experience any noise pollution from the road at the house. It is a quiet area. You can go for walks straight from the house with the children and dog. The homeowners are very nice and give you privacy. We were even allowed to milk the cow, got eggs from the chickens and there was a bottle of fresh milk ready on the outside stairs every day. The first supermarket in the area is in Houffelize, 8 km away. 18 minutes by car you are already in a large shopping centre in Luxembourg. A visit to the caves of Remouchamps is highly recommended. From the citadel in Dinant you have a wonderful view of the Meuse.

Wonderful place to really unwind. Outside the busy villages of Houffalize, roche and ardenne, but easy to drive by car. Also used as a base for MTB tours. The owner is very friendly, French speaking, but is useful with Google translate and so we can still talk! Our family also helped with milking the cow! We really enjoyed the location, having a nice breakfast in the garden in the morning, while the horses come to look curious. "Eating in the evenings under the shelter in front of the house. Ideal for people / families who enjoy a feeling of freedom and do not want to sit in parks between the crowds.

We were received in a very friendly, hospitable manner. The owner shared his experience with us and let us feed the animals and milk the cow, a unique experience. Then we could drink the tasty milk. The interior was very cozy, especially the lack of the TV downstairs was an added value for cozy talk at the wood stove.

We were received very warmly by the owner. The cottage was very spacious and cozy. The rooms were very neat and clean. The cottage was equipped with every comfort. We had enough firewood to burn our stove. The area was beautiful, crossing the street and people were sitting directly in the woods. We thought it was a great location !!!

Wonderful apartment! Very clean, more spacious than it looks on the photos, with everything you need! Place was very child friendly, also for our enterprising 1 year old son) Environment is super nice, very quiet, very suitable for walking, cycling etc. House owner Michel is a very nice man, we have the cow milked, butter made, ride with horse and car made, bike borrowed. In short, we enjoyed our holiday and definitely recommend it!

We (parents with children aged 1 year, 4 years and 5 years) have been very entertained for 2 weeks. Really recommended for rest seekers and people with children! The farmer speaks French only and we only Dutch, but with google translation you come together a lot. The children are entertained with chickens and horses. Many times watched the cow milking and even making the butter. We could also make a trip with horse and carriage with the farmer! Really nice. In the cottage there is nothing missing and it is very spacious. Everything is in the kitchen. But there is also toys and tourist info (hiking maps). For our 1 year son, there was a high chair, cot and all stairs. The outside area also had a covered veranda and a spacious garden. From the house you walk into the forest and have a nice view. By car you will be in Houffalize in 15 minutes and all other beautiful places. A recommended for families with children is the footpath near Montleban.

The cottage was completely fine and very child-friendly. You enjoy a fantastic view and it is completely quiet around. Michel also proudly shows his horses and cows (rightly so). We found it a lovely stay!
