Despite the mediocre weather enjoyed a mid week in Zeeuws Vlaanderen. Partly due to the beautiful house, quiet location, beautiful on the outside, very neat on the inside. We also appreciated the warm and relaxed welcome from Josh. We (family with 2 children) visited the fishing museum in Breskens, went spotting seals with shipping company De Fonteyn, the historic center of Groede and the Groede Podium bunker / playground complex, and took long beach walks and caught their breath in the pleasant beach pavilions. along the Westerschelde. Next time we will definitely also take the ferry to Vlissingen from Breskens.

nice and quiet house, very neat, very friendly welcome from the "caretakers". In the cottage / kitchen you'll find everything you need. Well located for bike rides, as if to let the dogs out. Garden was well fenced, which is convenient for the dogs.

Charming cottage in the middle of the Zeeuwse clay. Very suitable for rest seekers who are also comforted. Cottage is tastefully furnished and equipped with all comforts. However, Breskens, Cadzand, Sluis and beaches are easily accessible by car. Unfortunately, the weather did not work properly and therefore could not bicycle much. Cottage offered us, and our dog, a nice place to stay and to relax!

We already had contact with the owner in advance. That reassured us, given the corona measures. The cottage was neat and very cozy in terms of space. Ideal size for us my partner, our dog and me. The environment itself of the house is quiet. You actually hear nothing from the nearby busier road. In addition, the house is beautifully situated in the green. Furthermore, the beach is not far away and you can take nice walks in the back. A friendly neighbor and the owners themselves helped us with good advice for some beautiful walks. Breathe a breath of fresh air!

To our arrival we received the extremely friendly landlord with a basket of fresh apples, which pleased us very much. The house is absolutely quiet and you have a beautiful view over the fields, from the bedroom to the dike. The garden is very small, but very charming and fenced, which is important for dog owners. The house is very tastefully furnished and offers everything you need for the holiday. We had nothing to complain about. Everything was perfectly clean and well maintained. The beach is by car in 5 minutes and the area has a lot to offer. Also a visit to Bruges is worth it, one is also fast there. It was a beautiful holiday and we felt extremely comfortable in De Zeeschelp

Very nice house, even though it was initially difficult to find via GPS. Ideally located tief temporal short distance from Cadzand, Sluis and Knokke.Zeer quiet at night and sochtends. Bedroom downstairs zn cozy terrace behind the house.

Nice cottage, friendly and nice reception. Everything present and clean. Only on each heating was a thick layer of dust on the heater under the upper lattice. Looked in / on. That's the only comment. A cozy and tip-top cottage!

Dike House in Schoondijke near Beaches
This is a renovated, cozy dike house on the edge of a typically Dutch landscape in Schoondijke. The house has 3 bedrooms and is ideal for families. From the enclosed garden with a large terrace you look out over the Tragel, a historic canal.
The house is only 4 km from beautiful, wide sandy beaches. About 1 km away you will find the center of Oostburg, where you will find all necessary shops. This dike house is located right along a cycle route that takes you to the cycle ferry, which takes you across the Western Scheldt to Vlissingen. The historic cities of Bruges and Ghent are easily accessible. The seaside resorts of Knokke, Cadzand and the fortified town of Sluis are also worth a visit.
The attractively furnished house has a well-equipped kitchen and a luxurious bathroom with shower and bath.
