Great friendly people where we immediately felt at ease. The owner makes delicious wine that we have tasted with a nice explanation. The view from the apartment was beautiful. The pool was also a big plus with the warm weather. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at Agriturismo Residenza del Marchese in Gualdo Cattaneo. A wonderfully spacious apartment on the first floor, living room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a very large roof terrace with fantastic views.
The building is located in a large garden with several seating areas and a swimming pool. There is an excellent and attractive restaurant in the same building with a garden terrace.
The apartment was clean. The welcome was friendly.
The central location makes many excursions possible: Assisi, Spoleto, Spello, Perugia, Montefalco, Bevagna. Everything can be reached within 35 minutes at most.
Negatives: Limited kitchen equipment. Very weak WiFi: i.e. no reception in the apartment, only in the stairwell and restaurant. Missing parasol on the terrace.

Accommodation fine (we had the six-person apartment with 2 volwasenenen and three children). Friendly and helpful landlord and landlady speak English well. View from the private roof terrace is fantastic. Wifi is fine, just not inside by thick walls (but was quiet for the kids ....) On its own roof terrace or wifi reception. Setting is beautiful. Apartment has two bathrooms, so the kids had their own bathroom. Adequate electrical sockets (EN suit euro plugs, further Italian outlets just something else that round NL plugs do not fit). "In the evening cools down pleasant. Good bedden.En Yes, there are mosquitoes. Good and bring plenty of insect repellent and azaron. In the supermarkets, there are devices on sale that you plugged in. We were only on the last day behind.

Upon arrival, we were immediately received all fine. Beautiful apartment with terrace overlooking the beautiful Umbrian hills. Near picturesque small towns Bevagna, Montefalco. The trip to Perugia also takes only 40 minutes and is well worth. Also feasible Castelluccio and the Piano Grande unique mountain landscape. Absolutely not to be missed in the neighborhood is of course Assissi. And of course very delicious Italian food, both in the house and outside. We had a very nice holiday in Villa Marchese! The apartment is spacious with two large bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen is basically furnished, but she's definitely okay. The roof terrace is very large and has always daytime somewhere sun / shadow. The owners are very helpful, though they do not speak much English. With an Italian word you get very far. On the ground floor of the flats there is a typical Umbrian restaurant. Only on Saturday there is pizza, but that is definitely recommended. There is WIFI, but only near the restaurant / staircase and this is fairly slow. The owners are brother and sister. Stefano has brought us to the village of Gualdo and it gave us a tour. That was super! We made trips to Assisi and Spoleto. If you come from the north of Italy, take the best real motorway and not the alternative highway through Ravenna. Which is in very poor condition and not good for the car.

Spacious apartment on the 2nd floor with two bedrooms, living room, kitchen, two bathrooms and a large roof terrace. Various cities visited Assisi, Spoleto, Perugia. Nice walk in the area. The kids loved the delicious poolside. Stefano, Nicoletta and Sergio and are welcoming and helpful. The food in the restaurant is recommended.

In early August, we (family, daughter 14, son 11) spent a week in this apartment. Beautiful. It was very spacious and next to two bedrooms, a living room, kitchen, there were also two bathrooms and a large terrace. The owners (brother and sister) are very nice and helpful. We have almost every evening dinner in the restaurant on the ground floor / terrace, simple menu, but delicious. We had a surprise menu evening a kind ... really super.Op the day we had just installed a professional wireless network. Arrived The thick walls we had in our room did not reach. In the recreation room, however, was fine range. Outside on the terrace, and depending on the wind at the pool one could use free Internet ... Daughter of 14 so glad ;-) brother produces in-house delicious olive oil. Highly recommended. The wine is a must there. We have our 2 boys aged 7 and 9 had two lovely weeks in this lovely Agriturismo, from which you can make great excursions in the area (Perugia, Assisi, Spoleto). After visiting the many medieval villages we were happy with a nice dip in the pool that belongs to the Agritourism. The owners, Stefano and Nicoletta are very hospitable and make you acquainted with all the goodness of Umbria. It is highly recommended to try to eat at the restaurant on the premises, on Saturday the oven for real Neapolitan pizza. In short, a real must for those who this beautiful region wants to know more.

After delay during the flight we made very welcome by the owner and his family. A delicious meal was presented to us. The rooms are simple in decor, but give you ample comfort. The well maintained swimming pool for guests only, gives relaxation after a day of sightseeing. A beautiful old farmhouse in a wonderful area with beautiful well restored towns. Gualdo itself is very nice, but there is almost nothing to do. Montefalco, Bevagna, Foligno, Spoleto, Assisi etc. make more than good. The apartments are a few years ago, remains so modern compared to the house. Furniture is partly antiques. We are two weeks there with three young children, and we have not bored. In our period (August), there was a lot of family and continue only other Italian bezoekers.Veel fun, Niels

This house of Stefano and his sister is a real must for anyone who loves the real rural life and Umbria, or want to discover. The area is not touristy. We are shown around by the owner in the region and its habits. For us it was an experience of a kind. The purity of the Umbrian province tasted the first time (and we are all one time or been 4). It is very quiet and beautiful and who loves going shopping and choose a different location. This location should be for people who can maintain genieten.Residenza del Marchese is a notable real property name it.We have z 'n sixes a fantastic holiday behind it, of course, you also make yourself, you must be open for the region and the habits and it helps if you speak a smattering of Italian, but the owner speaks English (doing his very best). We had a delicious with Stephano and Nicole. Warm welcome. Wine, tomatoes and oil from the farmers themselves. Many Italian visitors, so no tourist enclave. Many beautiful towns, castles and other attractions nearby. Lovely pool for much needed cooling on hot days. The building is a family. The rooms are furnished with antique family furniture. We will firmly back sometime.

In the Agriturismo you will taste the wine "Montefalco Rosso" and "Sagrantino" local products, and you will prove the flagrancy of extra virgin olive juice just.
From Agriturismo, with short journeys by car, you can bear to visit the most important centres in the region such as Assisi, Perugia, Spoleto and others.
From 14 to 24 June in Bevagna held the "Market Gaite" historical evocation of life in the Middle Ages and development of tavernas where you taste the food kitchen umbra.
