We were greeted by the owner's mother (Gioconda) who spoke in French (a + for people with difficulties in Italian). Property surrounded by vineyards of olive trees and of course cypress located outside the town of VINCI , Ideal for calm after the days of visit. The accommodation was about ten kilometers from EMPOLI, so we left the car in the parking lot of the station for the day and then the train to FLORENCE (arrival at the central station) and from there city tour Without worrying about the ZTL and other traffic problems, ditto for the visit of PISE. A small flat however, we could not take advantage of the swimming pool the latter not being operational (robot cleaner broken and repaired two days before Our departure pity)

This review does not concern the apartment in the "basement". Upon arrival, we were transferred to a larger apartment because it was not rented. The extra room was a 5 month baby very pleasant, the downside was that the apartment was on the 2nd floor, without air conditioning this was very hot (did not cool at night so stayed 32 degrees) .The owners speak good English and are We have a reception at the front desk to answer questions. The apartment is neatly decorated and the pool is top! We missed an outside, the apartment did not have a terrace or balcony. There is a nice garden but when it's getting dark and the baby lying on the bed, you will not sit there.There are a lot of mosquitoes, windows for the windows work but moderate so make sure you have anti mosquito spray with you.One base to discover the area, we have been there for 5 days and found this enough .

The owners are very friendly, that's not the issue. Why we give a very low score: no matter how friendly they are, they don't have or don't take the time for maintenance and cleaning. There are plenty of sun loungers by the pool, there is only 1 that is intact. We clean the pool ourselves, otherwise you will be swimming between a lot of dead insects. In the apartment: the shower door can only be closed with 2 people. Very moderately cleaned (many cobwebs) and the extractor hood takes the cake: probably as long as it hangs (more than 20 years?) Never cleaned.

The Villa is located in Tuscany, in the native town of Leonardo da Vinci and surrounded by vineyards and olive trees.
Our facilities includes 11 double bedrooms and 9 bathrooms, the building is divided in 7 independent appartments.
The building includes a shared garden for the customers, swimming pool and a gazebo.
The reception is open from 3:30pm to 7pm, and has a free Wi-Fi.
The maximum capacity is 22-30 people.
