The house is in a wonderful secluded location above the village with a view of meadows and hills. Since the entire valley is a dead end street, there is no through traffic at all. The huge property offers a lot of space and is quiet (of course a lawn has to be mowed at the neighbors from time to time). You can walk into the Thuringian Forest and the Rennsteig directly from the house and you can also get to the Waldbad very quickly. Thanks to the seating in front of the house in the east and on the terrace in the south, you always have the right opportunity to sit outside and switch between shade and sun. The holiday home is not a "lightweight construction", but an exceptionally well and tastefully renovated stone house Basement that even has air conditioning for cooling and heating. The modern shower offers space for two. In the bathroom there was even a hair dryer and a heated towel rail. The supply of hot and cold water was very reliable. Since it is not drinking water, mineral water is even provided free of charge! The kitchen is equipped with everything you need (coated pans, stainless steel pots, etc.). If you don't want to turn the schnitzel with one of the available tongs, you should bring a spatula with you. There is a stove with oven and ceramic hob (4 plates), microwave, coffee maker, toaster, kettle. Everything worked perfectly, and Corona-related cooking is definitely fun here :-) The double bed has two soft mattresses measuring 90 x 190 cm (without foot section). For a week we paid 14 euros for electricity (without using the air conditioning), which we found very cheap. The approach via partially graveled (field) paths was no problem for us. However, if you have a lowered car, you may have difficulties. The landlords are very friendly, always available and helpful. We can only recommend the holiday home!

Nice detached house on the edge of the village. Extremely friendly owner who lives in the village. Large garden with a shed/bicycle shed. A big plus is the air conditioning, it was well above 30 C during our stay. The house is very well equipped and looks new on the inside. It is a clean fresh house perhaps less suitable for a family. We were satisfied with 2 people. The area has many hiking trails and there are many tips for trips in the cottage.

We spent a week in this cozy well-kept house (you). Everything is there, up to air conditioning. Towels cleaning products herbal soap etc etc. Everything is there. Extremely friendly landlord. She takes the time to explain. Lots of privacy and most importantly for us, peace and quiet. Beautiful surroundings, friendly people, certainly make this a great place for peace seekers to completely unwind. We are going back next year. Conclusions, we are extremely satisfied… !!!

When we arrived we were kindly greeted by the landlord of the cottage, she showed us around and wished us a happy holiday. The cottage is as in the photos and when we arrived it was very clean. It has a cozy decor and is still very modern. The cottage has a luxurious bathroom and a beautiful kitchen with oven and microwave, ideal! The only drawback is that the cottage has no wifi and you can not drink from the tap, but with a little internet and some bottles what is that no problem. .

A nice detached house for those seeking tranquility. Almost all amenities are available in the house. Outside, due to its location outside the village, a few things are missing. For example, the wifi and cable signals (2 TV channels) are missing. The water is also through our own installation, supplemented with bottles of drinking water. We enjoyed spending a week in the house. Neatly clean and equipped with almost all equipment and fully electrically heated.

Rooms and location of the house are very nice. Although we followed the recommendation not to drink the water, both myself and my wife had severe diarrhea on separate days. We have the assumption that it was due to the water from the hotel's own well.
