We were taken care of by the friendly "grandmother". Owners are nice. Had prepared a welcome package, very thoughtful! This made us feel very welcome.
Apartment has all facilities.
Super large and beautiful balcony, which we have sat on a lot.
Bakery is a few minutes' walk away.
Setting is beautiful, you sit between the vineyards and vines.
From this apartment you can easily go to Colmar, Basel and Freiburg.
We will come back again!!

This apartment is such a vibe! Chill location, surrounded by vines and gardens, Perfect for family hangs or just vibing with friends, The terrace is everything for those sunset pic pics, and the shared garden is a whole mood, Cooking in the fully stocked kitchen was a whole aesthetic too, Plus, super close to good food spots, which is a win!

We were satisfied. We were wonderfully taken care of by the homeowners. This small place offers a closeness to nature. We lacked nothing. We enjoyed the evenings with wine and socializing. The Winzer eG is a great bunch.

Great little house for a family of three or four. Owners are friendly. Nice balcony. Kitchen is well equipped. Possibility to use a washing machine and dryer. Small village shop nearby for sandwiches. However, there is a loud church bell that rings quite loudly.

Friendly owners. Simple house, but dog is allowed, and that seems less and less possible. Virtually no living room, but in good weather it's no problem. The terrace makes it quite good. Good location for walks, but also central between beautiful towns like Freiburg, Colmar, Mulhouse. Catering in the area leaves much to be desired, and relatively expensive.

The arrival was stiff. When we were at the holiday address there seemed to be nobody. Also, calling did not matter. A phone call to owner did not immediately yield something either, because we got his answering machine, on which we gave a message. Fortunately, there was a friendly postman, he then solved our problem. It turned out that the key was with the owner's mother. She lived under our apartment, her pantry door was open and by a lot of calling by the postman she came out. Furthermore, everything went well then. What was disappointing was that in the 2nd bedroom was only a sofa bed. The sitting room was quite small, on the couch could sit 3 people, we were z "n twos so that was no problem for us.Wat we the two balconies were quite fine with quite a nice view.The area is beautiful.Colmar in France is not far.Great is also free travel with public transport in the Black Forest.

Franz House is a cozy cottage with 2 balconies. At the front of the staircase is a small balcony that overlooks the blooming garden and henhouse Grandma Schmidt. At the back is the large balcony where you can relax in the sun and shade to sit and adjacent to beautiful quiet gardens with flowering trees.The interior we found some dated and in need of replacement, as the bed rather creaky. The kitchen is a bit messy furnished but everything you need is available. Grandma Schmidt gave us a few times delicious fruit and eggs and made occasional friendly chat. Too bad that the back of the outside stairs to the side wall (where the steps are widest) was interrupted. A solid continuous handrail would be safer in our zijn.De location of the house is fine. From Bischoffingen everything by car away. Such as, e.g. the town of Breisach for a boat trip on the Rhine or the beautiful pool. there are excellent restaurants in the surrounding small villages. Even trips to Freiburg, the Black Forest and France are doing well. All in all we thought it was a nice holiday g

The welcome was, as we have read in other reviews back, very friendly and hospitable by Grandma. There was some treats ready and we were briefed about the house. The house itself is dated in terms of decor but that is part of the environment and the experience of a holiday in DL. Everything worked, it was no damage and very important, everything was clean! From the house you can make beautiful walks in the Kaiserstuhl area, the slopes with grapes. You are also within 40 minutes of Colmar or Freiburg. Tip visit Eguisheim! Beautiful half-timbered town with a pedestrianized center, you know where to look. One and all floral displays, storks and wineries. Watch your love lie .... that you can forget in this cottage -) to 6:00 pm begins the nearby church bell and it is done with the rest. No problem for us, as you start really early in the day. We will definitely go back to Grandma and recommend therefore prefer not to, but do it anyway!

Are very well received. Bottle of wine in the fridge compartment plums on the tafel.Alles was clean. And just big enough for our family. Super lovely area for walking or cycling. Europa Park is not as ver.Gastvrouw was super friendly but could only German. But there was always a conversation possible. Recommended.

With our family with two teenage sons had a wonderful week in this property. On arrival very friendly and sociable received by the family, including grandmother who lives under the house. There was within a nice bottle of wine and fresh fruit waiting for us. The house is in good condition and is well decorated. Nothing to complain. Beautiful trips made in the area (Europa Park, Freiburg, Basel, Colmar, Donaueschingen). All within a short distance. The house is in a wine area, so plenty of wine tasting for the enthusiast. If you love roller coasters than Europa Park is highly recommended. Bigger and better than Eurodisney, which betreft.Al us all a wonderful week with very nice weather had. We will definitely come back!

Our hosts were very welcoming and friendly. Despite that "we do not know the" German, we know manage to make themselves understood with our Dutch and "English. We made good walks because the scenery was beautiful. We also visited the area and markets Christmas. C "was in any case a very relaxing area. Very Good Location for making excursions into The Black Forest, The Voges in France & the Northern border area of Switzerland
Very friendly householders both grandmother & her daughters family
Locally you can walk in the fruit orchards & vineyards - the area has a micro climate much warmer than the surrounding area - we were surprised by the variety of fruit notably plums, cherries & redcurrants - unusually we also found a Mulberry & Medlar tree which are not seen very often in the UK
Using the Konus travel card which is given to you on arrival it is possible to explore the Black Forest by train - it is best to drive to Breisach which is only fifteen minutes away from the house & park the car there - there is then a half hour service Monday to Saturday into Freiburg from where numerous rail (and bus) connections can be made
I would also recommend making the following longer excursions - Basel (by train), Strasbourg (by car - parking not a problem), & the northern border areas of Switzerland both east & west of Basel (by car)

The holiday Franz is undoubtedly the best choice of the two parts of the house that "granny" Schmidt us deelt.We felt really welcome, even though there was nobody home. but the door was a note when Ms. Schmidt would be that the door of our stay was open back, and we were very welcome. On the table a basket of fresh fruit from the harvest (which would happen a few times during our stay). Neat house, not modern but in good condition, only the micro-wave missing. If you really need it, yet even better inform vooraf.Het cottage has two terraces, one in front, small and covered, and a larger rear, not covered. Kaisersthul has surprised us: we intended to use for trips to the Vosges and the Black Forest, this cottage as a base, we have the smaller volcanic heights Kaiserstuhl itself beautiful, very well marked walks done. The Black Forest and the Vosges Mountains, we have explored two times each, and that brought us what we were expecting it. The son of Mrs. Schmidt was friendly and helpful to make the first night, our way around the house only explanation to another, not to look at the satellite German TV stations did not help us.
