The holiday home was comfortable and had everything we needed, It was a bit rustic but added to the charm, We spent our days exploring nearby trails and enjoyed dining at the lovely Gasthaus Elpetal just down the street

We had a nice holiday / vacation time in the Elpetalhaus. There was enough space for 9 children and 3 adults. The kids had a lot of fun, especially playing billiards or table football. In the living room you could sit well together and in general the house is very comfortably furnished. The landlady is very nice and uncomplicated.

I would actually describe the accommodation as "value for money". The house is cozy. Especially the large living room There is a lot of space, large and well equipped kitchen. However, the house was clean only at first glance. There were a lot of cobwebs in the corners and socks from the previous tenant under the bed. Something like that is uncomfortable. However, the mattresses, pillows and duvets were reasonably clean and smelled freshly laundered. The worst thing about the house, however, was the poor insulation and sometimes much too small radiators in some rooms. The heater got hot quickly, but the rooms stayed cold. We almost all froze at night! A room (under the roof) remained uninhabited, since it was freezing and not warm even after 2 days. So we had to move a little closer and sometimes 3 adults slept in a room that was actually only intended for one person. Such a thing is unacceptable! The house is well located and there is a good bakery next door. We had a great weekend thanks to the snow in Winterberg. However, we would not book the accommodation again.

A wonderful base in a beautiful setting. Lots of space, very clean and a quick and friendly responding owner. You can play table tennis or pool in the basement or in the attic. Nice sofas and well-equipped kitchen. We will definitely come back again!

The arrival was good. It was a short search, since the navi did not indicate number 24 and the house number is missing. The house on the outside does not show what the inside shows. Positively surprised. The environment is beautiful but the village itself has no facilities.

The arrival was good but the house was not schoon.Wij have worked with 5 people 1.5 hours to clean everything.Especially the kitchen and floors were dirty and have everything washed off first.

A great, spacious and cozy house with all amenities. We very much enjoyed it! The area was beautiful and we have lots of nice pictures to make in the snow at Winterberg.Kortom for our family was a thick 9. A minus, the new, very nice room, upstairs was stone cold and not too hot, with extra duvets that could be solved again.

We had a wonderful stay. The cottage was completely suited to our needs. Do not expect unusual Landall or Center Parcs cottage, but a cottage with real conviviality. Enough books to read, entertainment for the kids (pool table and table tennis table) and lots of space.

The arrival was not a problem, we have found the key itself in the mailbox. Unfortunately, the house was very cooled because the heating was not on. but Settled warm quickly. We had this summer a pleasant holiday with our family. For the key of the house had to be called to go to the key manager, which was then quickly. The children of our party enjoyed the toys. The house itself was fine and had all the things we needed. The finish could have been a little tidier and the interior is here and there some old-fashioned. The house is detached, but just before and behind the house is a road. The road to the house is a thoroughfare and the (freight) traffic comes started early. The sleepers on the front of the house were not always so quiet night. But all in all it was a nice, cozy holiday!
