Lovely place with a beautiful view! You only hear the birds and the occasional chickens from the neighbor. The house is not super insulated but the heating works great, and otherwise there is also a very nice bathroom with bath where you can warm up. Highly recommended!

A house full of character in a pleasant location. The decor is attractive and fits the house. The garden and especially the view are beautiful. Do not expect smooth-gestuukt modern living rooms but authentic rooms that fit the atmosphere of the huis.Wij have us well entertained!

For us an excellent base for a visit to the Peak brewery and the Spa-Francorchamps circuit. Friendly welcome when collecting the key and clear explanation. Charming house with beautiful location and views. Excellent beds, but note that in our opinion the fourth bedroom is the landing with one bed and with access to two other bedrooms and the staircase.
Good kitchen equipment, only the pans with non-stick coating can no longer be used due to damaged and peeling coating.
Finally, it turned out that the mobile reception was very poor. In that regard, WiFi would be a good addition (we knew it wasn't there).
All in all we had a great weekend.

The lady you have to pick up the key is very friendly and speaks Dutch, the house is on a hill which gives you a beautiful view of the terrace. In the house itself some repair works are needed, like a glass that was missing in the door of The hall to the living room, most sounds must be made

The mother of the owner who hands over the key speaks both Dutch and French and is very friendly. The location of the holiday home is great; the view is very beautiful and it is very quiet. The house is old (creaking floors, etc.), but the owner does regularly invest in the house. Recently, new plastic window frames and doors have been installed, and there is a fairly new electric boiler. The terrace is nice, but unfortunately, a garden set is missing. The blue garden set in the photos is no longer there (or maybe it was just placed there for the photos). There is now a garden bench on the terrace, but it is rotting and you cannot sit on it. The owner will definitely fix that when he comes back to the location. There are now two nice sun loungers on the terrace. We found the BBQ a bit dirty to use. For nature lovers, it is a fantastic holiday home with friendly people. The beds were very comfortable. There is also a coffee machine for coffee pods. In summary: a very nice holiday home, but it is a pity that there is currently no garden set and no parasol. We can understand the absence of the parasol, as previous guests did not fold it up and it got broken. With most telecom providers, the reception is not very good (often one bar), but the owner cannot do anything about that, and you can manage if you walk outside with your phone. We had a last-minute booking and did not pay much. For the price we paid, we definitely got "value for our money"!

Nice environment and accommodation. House improvement point: hinges and locks. Furthermore, few hooks to hang towels etc..

The surroundings and the view of the accommodation were great. The accommodation itself, as they call it, was authentic. Very solid with here and there some loose door handles and a locking door. That was also the price and we also knew this in advance. We are not demanding and therefore found that completely fine.

Below is a brief explanation of our experience with the holiday home you rented out. On Friday 27-08 we arrived at the key address around 5.30 pm to receive the key to our holiday home. A small surprise immediately followed. since the old lady supposedly knew nothing and shifted everything to the fact that her son arranged it all. However, this shaft is not present and after a few minutes of talking the key was given. Arriving at the house and opening the front door immediately followed a stench of moisture and filth ... our opinion was that this has not been rented out for a long time. The house smelled dirty and damp and musty ... after walking around we came to a large number of defects as shown in the attached photos visible.. I'll list them for you-Door handles that are loose and falling off-Lights so smeared you don't dare to touch them-Fridge that is broken-3 TV that all d don't do it - oven that must be disinfected before use - bathrooms full of mold and clogged drains - packs of dust and vermin in the home - kitchen utensils that must be disinfected before they can be used. - slatted bases of the beds broken - bedding full of dirty stains .. - heating broken ... not workable. Submitted a complaint to the key address, but again shifting it to her son, who again is not to be seen. Since we had no choice to book something else on the spot, we have spent the 3 days there which was absolutely no fun was.Monday morning immediately handed in the key and to our surprise we also had to pay another 60 euros for cleaning .... We have already experienced many things during holidays, but this really beat everything. We have never, really never seen such a tired and filthy house…

The price is still some time to enjoy comfort and cleanliness price is expensive (60 euros) n must be paid upon receipt of the keys together with the statement of cash electricity. Furthermore, there is no BBQ which is to be used (grate is completely rust). No working TV. The pillows are not so clean .... The toys that are available are not totally safe and not so clean. There are two high chairs but they are not clean (they cling huge!)

Very nice area where each hiker and nature lover can indulge themselves. Moreover, the house is also very suitable when your children are hebt.Enige hiccups that the costs have to be passed on very strong. So we kept our consumption modes closely watched and we still came vebruik at 60 euros for 2 days. It says a fire that should not be used while it is now just the fun yet what could stuwen.De cleaning was done rather high level in height, making the toys out ready for use waren.De hostess was very accessible and assisting us when necessary.

Spacious house with great views (if you have vision). Coincidentally some bad weather this autumn. Lots of drizzle and low hanging mist, so less sight \/ view. Account of gas and light should you bother to do to keep in the hand heater as low as possible and explain where it can (and you're still more than € 100, - extra lost). Divide garbage in itself is already a job. Hostess \/ owner okay.!

Good and quiet. 2 beds OK, so for four adults, other beds good for a scout camp, but not for a family. Noisy house that is not too well maintained. Announced fridge / freezer is not available. Owner is not directly accessible, but through the mother of the owner. Owner not helpful with problems or defects.

Stayed with 7 men in Exbomont for a cycling weekend. Before that the surrounding area is fantastic with the end of the day, becoming the uphill finish. The house is fine and very well situated. Nice bathroom. Bedrooms / sleeping areas and seating in the living room for 7 adults on the tight side.

The overwhelming nature and appearance of our home, made us instantly feel a nice holiday. The house was really formidable and beautiful environment around the Exbomont (name of the hill on which the house stood) is beautiful. Not for nothing are found, many hiking trails in the immediate area and beyond lies close to attractions like Malmedy, the Circuit of Spa-Francorchamps and the waterfalls of Coo (with Plopsa Coo park). Especially for larger families or 6 or 8 adults a good place to be.
