Warm welcome by the owners of a holiday home in Folleville in Picardy. Renovated house where everything is available. Beautiful heated swimming pool in large garden with sun loungers, large parasol, outdoor shower, etc.... Garden with 2 terraces. Lounge and garden table with chairs. Very quietly located and owners provide tips and facts about the area. Recommended and will probably return next year in September.

We arrived at our holiday home in Folleville to a lovely welcome from the owners Yannick and Florence, who immediately made us feel at home, and gave us a quick tour of the cottage. Inside it has every modern convenience including excellent wifi. There is plenty of room for a family and It has a lovely patio area with rattan garden furniture and glass dining table and chairs leading onto the swimming pool area. This is what really sets this cottage apart from others. It is spotlessly maintained and kept at a nice warm temperature, There is loads to see in the local area including visiting Amiens and the battlefields of ww1. The beaches of Fort-Mahon plage are about 60 miles away and worth a visit. Also not too far away is Parc Asterix which is great for all the family and certainly better value than Disneyland Paris. All in all, a great place to stay.

A very warm welcome, with a nice welcome sign. Inside was a snack and a drink ready. Very friendly owners! A short but clear tour of the house. A very nice and neat accommodation where everything is what you need. (And even more so!) In the area is not so much sense but ideal if you are looking for peace.

The house is beautifully quiet and the pool is awesome and, thanks to the cover, can also be used on cooler or windy days. The landlords gave us a very warm welcome and were very helpful with questions. We felt very comfortable and can only recommend it, our dog was warmly welcomed and was allowed to move freely on the property. So all in all a very nice property for a relaxing holiday!

Been to this cottage two years in a row. Really a very nice house. The owners are very nice people. You are on their property but we have not been bothered by them at all. They are super friendly. The cottage is well cared for and complete. There is also a lot to do in the area, brochures are also in the house. In short, highly recommended!!

Beautiful, immaculate cottage. Very friendly owners. You are a bit of a guest on their domain but you never feel like you are with them. Very clean pool. Environment is less. Somewhat too flat and a little too little sightseeing. But still a must.

Friendly welcome, nice holiday home and clean swimming pool and well-kept garden. A pleasant place to stay in all the peace and tranquility. Cows, bathrooms and grounds are beautiful. In the living room there is only a seat bed next to the table and chairs which leads to a small problem if more than 3 people want to relax in the evening for TV. Bedrooms are tidy and cozy. The stairs are used to the slopes by the sloping walls and the Rustic wooden vault creaks cozy at the back and forth, giving it a retro atmosphere. A wardrobe with hanging space for items on deckchairs would be welcome in the bedroom but perhaps due to lack of space. Owners are reasonably present what the Privacy is limited, especially since they decide when the swimming pool is open or closed and the pump / filters are turned on and off. In itself no problem, but it is somewhat less private than one would expect. On the other hand, it is very friendly, pleasant and especially helpful People who gave us an explanation and provided all the facilities, and gave tips on possible excursions and activities. . In Amiens and other places. It felt a bit like we were friends who came to visit them, no strangers who rented a week. All in all, we were very pleased with our stay. A big plus is the own entrance and car port and the presence of modern comfort such as fridge freezer combo, dishwasher and washer / dryer. A nice stay with our 2 dogs, received as real guests and not just like those animals. Thick plume for that! The fact that the dogs are not allowed in the swimming pool is not a problem because hygiene is not optimal, so it was obvious to us as well. Thank you to the host and wife.

Arrival was warm and welcoming. In the holiday home there was a welcome pack (cake, beer) ready, for a welcome drink with the owners we were able to arrive immediately or later on the day of arrival. The owners speak almost English. Self-control French, even though it is most necessary, helps enormously. The accommodation is as described a cottage it will ever be a barn or garage. Everything is in it, but it's a bit narrow and top-low for our long Dutch. The double beds upstairs are double-sided doubles. I myself am 1.93m tall and I found that a clear mistake. The blanket and pillow on one of the double beds we exchanged for a quilt and pillow that was put in a closet. The blanket had not seen fresh air for a long time. The owners take care of the swimming pool for a few days, do not you look around. Yes, the owners live on the same plot, next to the holiday home, but leave you free to use the terrace, swimming pool, gas or charcoal BBQ and garden + furniture without being "on a visit". High chance of seeing them almost. Wi-Fi modem is available in the cottage. Below and above the signal is strong. The satellite reception on the TV is a large number of French and German channels, not BVN or other Dutch channels. Parking your car goes under the carport on the yard closed with a remote access gate. Key of the house + Remote control for the gate are for you as tenant during the rental period. There is a safe and collection of leaflets and brochures of area attractions that can be measured with a tourist information. The village of Folleville itself is small (150 inhabitants divided a few streets). There are no shops or other amenities. Church + ruin must visit you. For groceries is not Morisel (Lidl, baker, butcher), but Bretuil (Lidl, LeClerq, in center

We have had 2 wonderful weeks. Kindly received by the owners. The pool is beautiful, even on colder days you can use it because the roof can be opened and closed. Plenty of privacy around the house with its own terrace and sitting area. Supermarket is a short drive away, the village itself has no shops or restaurants. Extensive kitchen equipment available. In short, a great stay for a small family. Can be reached quickly from the Netherlands.

We liked the cottage Le Clos St. Vincent in Folleville. This is mainly due to the (not too large) swimming pool. The owners are a friendly and helpful couple. It is quietly located in a small village, on the edge of a meadow. There is a terrace with a garden table and various seating areas. Inside it is not big, but everything is there. It can be warm in the bedrooms on the first floor in warm weather. The area is the quiet hilly countryside, where you can use a hiking map can walk well. Fam. Kauffmann

We were a little late, but that didn't matter. We were warmly welcomed. The car can be parked in front of the gite, which is ideal. It is also under a roof, so that the car is not in the sun. Everything was fine with Picobello

The arrival was fine. Nice owners, only speak almost no English so that is a bit difficult if you do not speak French yourself. The cottage was nice with some minuses and pros. The upper floor is low and the staircase even lower, so we regularly hit our heads. It is equipped with all kinds of things such as dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, sandwich maker, coffee maker, etc. Maintenance, on the other hand, is less. The children really enjoyed the pool. The owner maintains the pool well. They also use it themselves so it is not completely private. The cottage has a demarcated piece of terrace that gives some privacy. The area is quiet, there is nothing more to do within walking distance than walking through the fields. A supermarket is about a 10-minute drive away. You can make nice trips from the holiday home to the cities of Amiens, Paris and Beauvais. Beautiful things can be seen there.

We had a fantastic holiday. The owners, who live next door, are friendly and helpful.
We found the immediate area itself less interesting, but we mainly stayed at home for the swimming pool with the children. They really enjoyed going in and out of the pool from early in the morning until late at night. Trips to Amiens and Parc Asterix were a nice change.
The accommodation was spacious, but a bit dated. It had been cleaned well, so that wasn't the problem. We have had better beds, but we think the price reflects that. In combination with the good weather that we mainly had, we had a great time.

Very friendly reception. Everything clean with even a brand-new crib. Arranged so that you still have room for yourself and each other. Demarcated garden. Safe for both children and dogs. Owner lives next to it. Is always available and helpful but also gives room for his guests. We would thus have a go. Because the pool is great with good weather.

We have our family spent a very peaceful holiday. For the first store (Lidl) to encounter you have to drive 15km between the fields and the first village with the first bakery is still just a little bit further. You must next day so still as planning tevoren.Verder a very convenient cottage with super friendly people. Everything was provided from A to Z, even a baby bed, high chair, etc ... The pool was wonderful on the hot days and culture do not have to walk far, because at 50m you are at an important medieval church and castle. The castle was extensively renovated it at that time and was to visit only. Outside

The town Folleville is very easy to achieve and it does not take long to look at the address because the town is actually almost a road. The house stands on the site where the owners live. Well, you have a private entrance to the car.We were warmly welcomed by the owners (with welcome gift). The house is ideal for 4-5 people. While it may not happen very modern, everything is neat and clean. The kitchen is quite complete and there is washing and drying equipment. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, be careful with the stairs, because the sloping roof is a risk of a "head butt." For tall people But everything else in orde.Met hot days, this house is a big plus, namely the use of the pool. This is the owners nicely in and kept clean and we were allowed to use all the time what a nice cool betekende.De environment is very relaxing and a nice evening stroll along the castle ruins and the church gives a good idea of u200bu200bthe tranquility in the countryside. For shopping you must be 10 km. to drive to Breteuil, but there is also a large keuze.Folleville can serve as a base for enjoyable visits to cities (Amiens, Beauva
