Very spacious recent home, nice that there were a lot of basic things such as coffee filters, toilet paper. The sheets and towels that were there were also handy. Well received by the owners. Despite the bad weather I received some tips for activities in the area. Definitely recommended the house.

Holiday the beet mill is highly recommended for those who love peace and greenery. Everything is also present in the holiday home. The landlords can be proud of it, it was pleasant.

What a beautiful house. Wonderful beds and nice and spacious for 7 people with dogs. Everything is very complete and well taken care of. Unfortunately the weather wasn't great so we couldn't see much of the area. We were not really bothered by the traffic. A small downside is that the garden is not fenced.

De Bietenmolen is a great holiday home, nicely and homely furnished and the kitchen has everything you need to prepare a meal. The three bedrooms with double beds, one of which is downstairs, are all equipped with excellent box-spring beds and are spacious. The (children's) bedroom with two single beds is a bit smaller. The downstairs bathroom has a sink and a shower cabin that is a bit on the small side and has a fairly high step (perhaps a tip to replace it in the near future with a walk-in shower which is also better and easier for a slightly less able-bodied person ). In addition to a sink, the upstairs bathroom has a bathtub in which you can also shower. Both upstairs and downstairs a separate toilet with hand basin. And everywhere where a window or door can open, it is equipped with mosquito nets, which is very nice! The terrace is at the rear and equipped with a large table with chairs and a large cantilever parasol. Next to the holiday home is a farm with cowshed, so cows are your immediate neighbours! Because the house is located on a main road, you can experience noise nuisance from passing (freight) traffic. Before our stay, the owner was contacted by phone to explain things because she might not be on site when we arrived. Due to the central location in the Westhoek you can make many trips, in 20-25 minutes you are at the coast or in the other direction to Ypres and the surrounding area where the history of the 1st World War is visible everywhere. We can certainly recommend De Bietenmolen and will probably return to it in the future!

Beautiful house, quite remote but if you know that and prepare it’s just perfect. Was quite hot when we went and so being next to a farm- lots of flies and bites!

Bring insect repellent in summer and lots of wine and you’ll be fine! Super place for the cost. Would stay again.
