The perfect place to get away from it all! Mobile signal is very poor, TV reception is not great, You have plenty of time to wander around the lovely garden and just sit on a bench with no distractions, Squirrels hop around the grass, rabbits come and go, Kestrels fly overhead and you can hear the woodpeckers nearby, The cottage itself is very clean, warm and has everything you need for a getaway, The owner gives a warm welcome and is informative about local places and history,

The cottage was exactly what we needed for a tranquil and restful getaway, The setting was picturesque, nestled in the countryside among two expansive lawns adorned with beautiful flowers, A pond with charming yellow water lilies added to the charm, We enjoyed breakfast outdoors and spent our evenings reading while listening to the birds and watching the squirrels and rabbits frolic in the gardens, The quaint little cottage was spotless and perfectly suited our requirements, with ample hot water for baths, Ann, who lives in the main house, greeted us and gave us a lovely tour

Fantastic place to stay! Very warm and informative welcome from the host, The property was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking, The TV worked well and the mobile signal was good for the mobile phone, Access to two huge lawns with lots of visiting wildlife including red kites and herons, Would definitely book again

We really enjoyed our stay in this charming cottage, It was very comfortable and equipped with everything we required, The garden was lovely and tranquil, providing ample space to relax outdoors and appreciate the nature around us, including the local wildlife, While Penant is quite quiet, it serves as an excellent starting point for day trips to nearby New Quay and Aberaeron, Ann, our host, was exceptionally warm and hospitable, and we would certainly think about returning

Charming retreat in an excellent spot! Our hosts Anne and David were incredibly welcoming and offered great advice, answering all our queries, It was a bit confusing before check-in, but overall, a fantastic stay, Make sure to bring layers for winter as it can get quite cold, and don't forget slippers since the kitchen floor is tiled with stone

It serves as a delightful base for exploring the area, with plenty to do, especially hiking the Ceredigion coastal path and spotting dolphins at New Quay, The place was spotless, and our hosts welcomed us warmly, I would highly recommend it and would love to return in the future

There is a lake and well in the grounds. The cottage are just 2 miles from the coast and are situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with plenty of activities to suit all tastes. Within easy reach is Llanon, 3 miles, Aberaeron, 4 miles and Aberystwyth, 14 miles. The coast, from Cardigan to Aberystwyth, with its sandy beaches and rugged cliffs, is easily accessible. Inland is peaceful with interesting countryside and many places of historic interest. Shop and pub 2 miles.
