Here you can relax! A very nice and clean house, lovingly furnished bedroom and equipment with everything you need. Very nice landlords who will get back to you quickly if you have any questions. The surrounding area is just right to recharge your batteries or as a starting point for any excursions. A very beautiful area in France and a great starry sky at night ;-). We felt very comfortable including our dogs!

We had a nice stay in this lovely little house. We could bike to the Nivernais canal via a hill, where you can then ride on a bike path next to the canal. We also took several walks in the area with our little dog. You can start from the house, but you do walk along the road for part of the way. However, there isn't much traffic here. Sometimes the cows are led to another pasture.

The cottage was surprisingly nice authentic, well decorated, cozy and in a rural setting near a castle. We were received by the son of the owner, very nice.

Very cute house, with plenty of space for the two of us.
The owner, Francoise, is friendly.
Upstairs are two double beds, separated by a curtain. Bed is very narrow.
Environment is beautiful, no real walking routes nearby. According to the information there is a forest 100 meters away. That's probably true, but you can't really get there.
There is everything there, but most of it is old and/or damaged. Pieces of many things are missing, quite a few pans are missing a handle, for example. Not everything has a clearly divisible number. That sometimes gives a bit of a thrift store feeling. The WiFi didn't work at all. Poor connection, with many interruptions. This should improve soon with the arrival of fiber optic. We paid €3 per day for the WiFi. After comments about the quality and availability, Francoise charged us about half, which we thought was ok, but of course we would have preferred to just have internet.
We had a good time, especially because of the nice weather and although there is quite a bit of traffic, the location is quite quiet. So we look back on it with pleasure.

Cottage is located just outside the small village of Isenay, very free and wonderfully quiet between the rolling countryside. Great house with a beautiful fireplace. We had a great time. Enjoyed cycling along the canal, spent days on the road by car, in short, enjoyed it.

The house is a bit gloomy when the weather is less. It is wonderfully quiet with the first neighbors at 600 meters. The attic where all the beds are is warm. Fortunately, the house has recently had air conditioning both upstairs and downstairs.

In itself everything is present in the house but a bit dated, in itself that is not a problem. Bed is only 140, wide, we think it's a bit narrow.
We would pay extra attention to this with a next booking.
We miss a nice outdoor seating area. Rickety garden chairs.

The cottage is cozy, but it definitely needs a refresh. The kitchen countertop is absolutely insufficient for families who wish to cook on-site. The kitchenware, especially the cooking materials, definitely needs an upgrade. Pots without handles, pans with damaged coatings, the condition of the BBQ. Positive: large fridge and nice spacious bedroom when staying with 2 people. Toilet only on the ground floor.

Perfectly renovated and maintained house. Nice and cozy decorated with decent furniture and fixtures, something you see too few in France I think. Perfectly equipped for a couple, possibly with a small child. Outside a large grass garden full of birds and butterflies. The D-way along (35 meters) the house is quiet but math still at about 4 to 6 cars "at an hour that come along with a decent speed. This reduced or greatly the privacy feel of the garden and because there is no fence to sit was to pay attention to our dogs the garden. Surroundings are purely rural, hilly meadows with cattle, woods and hedgerows. If you are looking for peace and nature, is a good choice. A paradise for bird watchers. you have yourself here know how to vemaken. Mind you, most forests are private (hunting) field. for opened forests, you need to state forests ride in the Morvan or direction Biches (Foret St. Vicent). Tips owner a fly screen on the front door, through the large numbers of livestock around the house a kettle and toilet roll holder teems there with flies. would be easy.

Neighbour & amp; gt 1km, surrounded by flora fauna. Calm, quiet and rest again. Nice area to de-stress. Have made some bike rides, nice undulating parcours. During our bike ride of 50km we are not five people encountered. Also possible to cycle along the canal nivernais which so flat. Walking is also one of the possibilities. The weather was against us something, it is great to come home and spend the evening in front of cozy fireplace.
