This is also the starting point of the eight-kilometer trail to La Cumbrecita, which takes you to the 1,300-meter-high viewpoint with a beautiful view of the Caldera de Taburiente valley basin.

Our apartment didn't match the pictures on the internet, it was the smallest, right next to the street and had the ambience of a youthful basement shack, it was dark and tiny, but the landlady was very nice and we got a larger apartment because of the broken TV, This app was very clean and well maintained,

Our stay at Casa DoÃ±a Elida was quite pleasant, The bungalows were tidy and comfortable, equipped with everything we needed for our week-long getaway, While the area is quiet, we appreciated being close to local attractions like the Mirador de La Cumbrecita for some stunning views, Itâ€™s worth noting that the resort may not be suitable for those with mobility issues, but for us, it was a lovely and tranquil place to unwind

We spent great holidays in a beautiful, typical old Canarian house, we really liked the crooked construction with old wooden floors and rustic windows, the two terraces offered shade or sun alternately, the adjacent service road didn't bother us at all, the landlords got along personally very well taken care of the lovingly maintained facility and were very helpful on our part, the area offers a lot of peace and good opportunities for hiking, we ideally had a car parking space right next to our house, all in all a real recommendation for people who are looking for peace and quiet and like the original architecture of the Canary Islands, We will definitely be back!
