The arrival was a bit rushed as the traffic was bad. We expected to arrive at 6 but got there 630. We would have liked more time to go though what the chateau had to offer however Marie-Paul was always available to answer our queries. The chateau was spotless and clean. The pool was beautiful and kept clean the whole time. The surrounding area was beautiful with a lot of history. We drove to Aachen to visit the cathedral which was stunning. If anything a week is not long enough. I would highly recommend this chateau to anyone. Thanks

We were six adults and seven children (7-13 years) in the autumn. This destination will be even nicer in the summer when the pool can be used. We are not like the fitness, sauna and jacuzzi so that is hardly used. However, the cinema hall in bad weather. The area is very quiet, messages only 3 km. mogelijk.In house was everything available over the pool table and fireplace have always been in use for trips to Maastricht, Valkenburg and Liège \/ Aachen, this environment is very suitable. Also, a few km 's away to a quiet forest for hiking. Cyclists mainly on the road except the Ravel route, which is definitely recommended. The rooms were all spacious, some of them in a different building.

The photo 's reflect the reality! Upon arrival, all beds made, towels are provided. Proper.Zeer Everything is very pleasant welcome by the owner. (Which is always available if needed) .have really enjoyed our weekend pool, fitness, jacuzzi ... The kitchen is adequately equipped. Sufficient cutlery ebb glass / bags. Bases such as sugar, spices, aluminum foil ... are present. So we really felt "at home"! worth repeating. (Featured Guided visit Abbey Val Dieu and laser game in Verviers (rue Mali))

We, the grandparents, but especially our children and grandchildren have had a dream vacation! The accommodation was really for their ages (6 grandchildren between 8 and 16 years old) We stayed there much more than usual on vacation because the house itself offered many possibilities. In the garden and pool, we watched a beautiful, gently undulating landscape! That the pool had been open for us a surprise! There were also clean walks nearby.

Fantastic holiday with the family, one could do what he wanted jacuzzi, sauna, spa, pool, cinema, gym ... A very decent, cozy, equipped kitchen, oven, two refrigerators (very easy), everything was present, even the food that was there we could use. The fireplace was very easy to stabbing, very cozy! We are sorry that we could not make use of the outdoor accommodation this because of the cooler and cold weather. The lady who handed the keys is very friendly and we could always call if there was anything. The next time we go back in the summer, because this holiday was certainly succeeded!

The photo 's of the accommodation are a good reflection of how the castle is real. In real life perhaps even better. It's all very well maintained and super clean. You can have fun here with all that exists! Very suitable for young and oud.Je read on other sites crazy stories about the owner, but here we have not noticed. It is a really friendly and welcoming woman who does her best to take it to your liking.

My experience at Chateau Froidthier were geweldig.Wat a beautiful castle and a beautiful omgeving.n Real aanrader.wij there were 8 adults with 3 children and a baby and really it was so delicious kitchen bedrooms all with beautiful spas the jacusie completely covered zadat you with anything less again delicious hours in jacusie can spend the pool and relaxing moments in the sauna. Well it was really a dream for us to be there one weekend to use it thank you castle one weekend we could use anything we might experience when you will receive the grade between 9.5 and 10 Greetings from the Fam Groeneveld.

After a weekend in this castle to have spent 14 people, we found out that this was the best stay, what we have in recent years geboekt.Helaas we were not too good again, but this house is not a problem by the many facilities there zijn.Genoten the jacuzzi, the pool, the cinema and the fitnessruimte.Al in all a highly recommended, we will definitely come back sometime in the summer and the pool can be used worden.De owner speaks reasonable Dutch and is very vriendelijkFam Rose in Uithoorn

We really enjoyed all the luxury that was present in this beautiful castle. Only had the books of the electrical equipment or stores must be. This gorgeous castle is located in in the Froidthier locality of Thimster-Clermont in Belgium. It is fully renovated with a swimming pool and in the heart of Herve country. It can accommodate 14 people in 7 bedrooms.
The castle is the best starting point for all walks and visits around the region. You can visit the neighbouring regions of Ardennes, Liège, Spa, Malmedy, Stavelot and its surroundings. Restaurants are close by barely 1 km away.
This house has a relaxation area that consists of a sauna, Turkish steam bath, bubble bath, shower and fitness equipment. All bedrooms have a bathroom and some of them also have a flatscreen TV. The swimming pool is heated for free on request from April to October.
The town centre and general supplies are 2 km away and the train station 12 km away. The nearest airport is 38 km away and it is the Maastricht Airport.
