If you want a lovely fully equipped apartment run by a fantastic host, look no further. Our first visit to Croatia was one for the books, also due to our stay at Masa. We enjoyed the warm welcome, the tips and advice of Branko our host and of course the clean and roomy apartment.
So when you plan to go to Croatia in the Zadar region, apartment Masa is the place to go.

Nicely located apartment with a beautiful view of the straits. Clean and tidy to the last detail. Fully equipped (even bicycles are available) And with the most friendly owner that one can imagine. Beverage (water, wine, beer) and fruit (apples and oranges) were ready upon arrival.On departure we received another gift per person (bottle of cherry drink) Not far from several shops and restaurants in Starigrad.For walkers a true paradise because one is located at the Paklenica national park.And the beautiful city of Zadar is also easily accessible, so also the airport.Maw a must to spend a relaxing holiday.A small note for families with small children the pool is not screened.

We were greeted by the owner very warmly and were pleased about the well furnished, large and beautiful apartment. Everything was practical and very clean, the pool in front of the patio door with sea view fantastic. Definitely recommended! Also during the stay was the Owner very helpful and on leaving it was a very nice gift! The description of the house is absolutely correct. In the kitchen there is also a dishwasher (even tabs were there), a new coffee machine (filter), everywhere Wi-Fi etc. and above all a drinking water dispenser. The landlord donated us some 11.3l cartridges for this device, which can also cool water. Very convenient!

Very nice spacious apartment with fantastic views and pool for sole use. The landlord family living upstairs welcomed us warmly and spoiled us with small treats. The area is suitable for swimming, for city trips and also for climbers in the nearby National Park Paklenica.

The place that Branko rents out at Starigrad-Paklenica is an amazing gem. When stumbling upon it online, we initially fear it is too good to be true, but the truth is that the reality is even better. The pool is actually private, the house was brand spanking clean and the location is within driving of Plitvice NP, Krka NP, Zadar, ... Paklenica NP is literally less than a couple of kilometers away. , and the sunsets are killer We're doing evenings in the swing chair overlooking the sunset with two young kids, nobody has to ask for a swipe on.Branko must "ve been one of the kindest hosts we "ve ever met. With us with food on the table, drinks in the fridge, and leave with a gift-basket filled with local goodies and homemade sherry. We had a fantastic holiday! Besides the wonderful weather, the beautiful surroundings and the phenomenal view, the hospitality and attention of Branco (the owner who lives above the apartment) is really very special. On arrival he welcomed us with wonderfully cool drinks and a snack but also for the rest of the stay he was very attentive by bringing watermelon, providing water for the water cooler, on our daughter's birthday there was a pendulum hanging in the middle in the night to wave us goodbye when we were leaving and gave us nice gifts. When we had questions he was immediately available and responded very quickly. He really understands what hospitality and hospitality means !! The apartment is well cared for and very clean, the pool is lovely with the warmth and the garden furniture very comfortable.We have made trips to Zada, Nin, Pag, Plivitce nature park and of course the various beaches for swimming and snorkeling.Also the semi_ dive boat that from Starigrad is fun to In the village there is plenty of fun in the evening and there are good restaurants.

Warm welcome by owner. Very comfortable house with spacious terrace and sea view. Sufficient stores and restaurants in the immediate area. Small private swimming pool. No horror, mosquitoes. Road traffic causes some noise.

We were able to move into the clean, well-kept and very nice apartment on time. On the spacious terrace, with loungers and the beautiful pool, we have recovered well with a beautiful view of the sea. Every evening we could enjoy a great sunset. The area offers a lot of variety cycling, hiking and climbing in the Paklenica National Park, boat trips and much more ... Starigrad is a quiet little place with restaurants, shopping and cafes ....

Recommended, have felt very comfortable, nice landlord. The images correspond to the images shown in the forum. One can do a lot from there by car. In the surroundings there are beautiful pebble beaches, small harbor, delicious restaurants and events for every age, young and disciples. For climbers, there are few more kilometers a paradise on rocks in the National Park Paklenica where Winnetou movies were filmed. The 40 km distant city of Zadar is highly recommended to visit, great old town and attractions, great harbor, the water organ should one not to be missed.

We welcome a really nice landlord with cool drinks. The apartment looks like in the pictures very clean and tidy. The terrace is a dream big with a mad beautiful view. The pool is great though not so big but adequate. The sea is however further away as 200 meters resp. The place for the swimming. We had to drive straight to the sea because of the children. In the area there are many things to explore. All in all, we spent a very nice week there and we will probably return again.

Located in the centre of Paklenica Riviera, this region connects mountains and sea, the warm Mediterranean with an upland climate. The national park area of Paklenica with numerous walking trails is 4 km away. The ancient city of Zadar is in the vicinity and so are cycling paths, sailing schools and mountain peaks. Add some adventure to your vacation by rafting on the wild waves of Zrmanja River. General supplies can be availed at a distance of 1 km and tourist information, restaurants are 2 km away.

The most difficult croatian trekking race takes part in the Velebit area and is traditionaly visited by mountain runners from all over the world. There are four different categories: Tourist (15km), Recreational (30 km), Mauntain (45km) and Ultra (75km) which start at an altitude of 0 m and ends at 1.757m at Velebit's highest peak Vaganski Vrh.

Bicycle lovers are delighted by the combination of sea and mountain landscape this race offers. Along the way they can see sights such as Starigrad-Paklenica, hills of Velebit and the canyon of river Zrmanja
Paklenica National Park features over 150 km of charted trails spanning from easy ones suitable for most tourists to the most difficult ones leading to the highest peaks of Velebit mountain (Vaganski vrh 1.758 m, Sveto Brdo 1.753m).
Paklenica National Park is one of the Europe's most known rock climbing destinations. Cliffs of Velika Paklenica which are almost completely vertical in their nature are over 400m tall and are located next to the very enterance
to the Park. They are only 2km away from the sea and make for an ideal family destination. In the Park station and at the Park's front desk there are proffesional climbing guids available.
Rafting on the wild vawes of the uppers stream of Zrmanja river will amaze even the most experiences advanture seeker. Kayak and kanu rides are organized in the summer months when the water level is suitable for such activities.
Dive into the underworld of Velebit mountain! It is famous for its numerous caves and experienced guides are ready to take you exploring. We reccomend you to visit Manita Pec cave in NP Paklenica and Cerovacke Pecine near the town of Gracac. Both are protected landmarks equipped to welcome thousands of vistors evey year.
Located in the rocks of Velebit near Starigrad-Paklenica at the altitude of 700m there is adrenaln park Vrganac. It offers bridging, via ferrata, absail, climbing and rappeling.
Bycicle lovers can visit many attractions of the area on a bike. Other the NP Paklenica the nearby region has over 40km of bicycile trails running through them. They guide visitors through caractheristic landscape which features sights of both sea and the mountains and touch upon attractive historical and natural locations. Also, it is possible to cycle to the islands of Zadar region, to explore old roads of Velebit or Vransko Jezero Park of Nature.
