Wonderfully spacious, and cool and so wonderfully quiet. We look from our balcony on a lovely garden, in which we can walk. The people are very nice and very humble. In short, a very nice accommodation.

Sinds kort nieuwe eigenaren. Je ziet aan de tuin dat er afgelopen jaren weinig tot niks aan onderhoud is gedaan. Appartement ziet er keurig uit. Eigenaren zijn vriendelijk en doen hun uiterste best. Zwembad is perfect, voor ons jammer dat de andere gasten kleine kinderen hadden, maar dat is persoonlijk. In de omgeving is niet zoveel te doen. We kregen nog een kleine verrassing toen we in Nederland waren. We werden gebeld dat er een schilderij miste. Wij hadden heel dat schilderij nooit gezien. Ze zouden wel contact opnemen met Belvilla..... Achteraf bleek het schilderij achter de radiator te zijn gevallen.

We have a week's holiday at Villa St. Cloud. An excellent holiday with very very friendly and helpful owners. The house was in perfect order, with more than all comforts, a stocked fruit bowl on the table, the richly fragrant lavender in the house, a great book, perfect sound instalation for beautiful music that you really imagined in Vaucluse! The setting is lovely, wine, lavender and sunflower fields, everyday a (flea) market near the Mont Ventoux, even the Pont D 'arc is doable to visit. Overall, an absolute must for peace and true French atmosphere.

Tip from the houseowner

Just outside ValrÃ©as village, in the middle of the Rhone Valley and surrounded by vast vineyards, lies this Villa , a beautiful Maison de MaÃ®tre. The house in Art Deco style from the twenties offers a gite where you can enjoy some rest. In this part of the Provence the sun shines an amazing 300 days a year and the large garden with pool offers various possibilities for spending all day outside. If you feel like getting active after a day of lazing out in the sun, you can throw a ball on the boules track at the side of the Villa. The region is perfect for walks and bike rides. You have several mountain bikes at your disposal that can be used for wonderful cycling trips, for instance, across the Mont Ventoux. There is a nine hole golf course nearby for golf lovers. ValrÃ©as lies 50 km to the northeast of Avignon. Nyons (12 km), Vaison la Romaine, Avignon and Orange are well worth a visit. The sun, the lavender fields and vineyards, the delicious ProvenÃ§al food and the atmospheric markets in the surrounding villages are the ingredients of a fantastic holiday.
