The arrival went smoothly. We had received clear instructions from the owner. Environment was neat and quiet. It was a very nice house with really everything you need in terms of facilities, for a nice holiday. The only downside is something the house can do nothing about, the weather. At the beginning of July we had bad weather for a week, 18 degrees, lots of wind and rain. So good weather there is no guarantee there in that region. That was something we didn't know, and we hadn't read anywhere. So with this: a warning. For information, the second week of July there was apparently 30 degrees and a lot of sun ... so it can apparently fluctuate quite a bit.

We spent 6 days in a lovingly and comfortably furnished house with a fantastic view. Communication with the host was excellent. Both before our arrival and during our stay. We felt very comfortable, even in the impressive nature on the cliffs in the immediate vicinity. The time was far too short to explore the diverse possibilities in the area. The accommodation and the region are definitely worth a trip.

Nicely furnished, spacious house, quiet location and fully equipped. Nice spacious garden, around the house. You can also park on your own property. Good location to explore central Portugal. We (family, 4 people) were there in early May. Had good weather and made nice trips. Before arrival we received an email from the homeowner with information and clear directions. This allowed us to find the house easily. We were also lucky that the house was available a few hours earlier. We also received a message from the owner about this. The contact with the owner via mail / app went well. Owner is friendly and responds quickly. The house has extensive information about the area. The house is a must!

Ideal location near 2 fantastic beaches. On the other hand, Soa Martinho do Porto mat is a warm enclosed bay and some cozy terraces. On the other hand there is Foz do Arelho, where is a beautiful laguna and you can do water sports (eg kite surfing!) . Shops are 20 minutes drive away. The house and the garden itself are ideal! Nothing to notice. Also close to a sunset lookout! We will definitely be back!

Villa Cabana is a beautiful house in a beautiful omgeving.We have often rented a Belvilla house but this house really jumps out of peace, views, privacy and cozy artistic decor both indoors and outdoors.From the house we have many beautiful walks made about the cliffs overlooking the ocean and the very clear days we could even see the Berlengas islands at about 25km away. As always in Belvilla houses you will also find a lot of information about the area and the essentials in kitchen and bathroom are abundant. As far as we are concerned, a must.

For 35 years we know and are familiar with and in Portugal - this house in a beautiful area was a nice discovery Greatly enjoyed the beautiful house with beautiful gardens and wonderful, restful uitzicht.Portugal is a country with an endless shore even in this! area there is plenty to enjoy and that we therefore have gedaan.Portugese friends who came to visit us were very enthusiastic.

We had a wonderful and varied holiday in this beautiful holiday. The villa is comfortable, modern and fully equipped. Beautifully situated on a high part of the Atlantic coast, with inland views from the terrace and living room and cozy beach towns within a few kilometers. The extensive information in advance was useful and we are warmly welcomed. In short, a must for the tranquility in a beautiful setting!

Or would you rather go to the beach? In Sao Martinho you will find a child-friendly bay and in Foz do Arelho a lagoon and a wild sea.

Villa Cabana is located near two lively seaside resorts (San Martinho and Foz do Arelho), both at 4 kilometers from the house. Here it is possible to practice various forms of water sports (including surfing, kite surfing and windsurfing).

The region is the cultural heart of Portugal with historic cities:
- Óbidos: a fully walled medieval fortress town. Perfectly restored. Walk on the walls with battlements and enjoy the traditionally painted houses. 20 minutes by car from the Cabana.
- Nazaré: sickle-shaped beach with fishermen who repair their nets. Fisher women in traditional clothing sell fish and souvenirs. With a cable car to the Sítio viewpoint for the chapel and 18th century church. 25-minute drive away.
- Alcobaça: impressive monastery with a front of 221 meters! One of the Wonders of Portugal. It houses the tombs of Pedro and mistress Inês. 30 minutes drive.
- Penice: pleasant fishing port with excellent restaurants and beautiful beaches. Very famous surfing spot. The Berlenga islands, just off the coast, can be reached by boat. Peniche is a 40-minute drive away.
- Fátima, one of the largest pilgrimage sites in Europe. Impressive square with basilica and a beautiful modern cathedral: an hour away
- Batalha: impressive large ocher yellow sand-lime monastery; richly decorated with turrets, arches, pinnacles, pillars, railings, wheels and beautiful sculptures. Also one of the Wonders of Portugal. 45 minutes drive.

Lisbon is also easy to reach from the Cabana: there are many buses a day, but you can also be there by car in one hour.

There are many hiking options including the Serra de Candeeiros. A Grande Randonnee route runs past the house.

There are several golf courses nearby: Bom Sucesso, Praia d’el Rey and Royal Obidos can all be reached within half an hour.

At Rio Maior you can visit a salt mine, next to it are several terraces and restaurants.
Buddha Eden theme park near Bombarral is an oriental garden full of huge Buddha statues. There is also a wine tasting.
