The house is typical Italaian style, with a old furniture. Thats romantic but not always comfortable. The view is splendid, the balcony is huge, the villages nearby are beautifel. Visit Rio en Groppo by foot. You can hike there and see medieval villages.

The lovely villa still was slightly more remote than at first appeared from the description. But after a week of Tuscany was an okay afwisseling.We did have trouble finding the villa. Furthermore, it is an excellent accommodation, with a lovely large balcony / terrace.

We have greatly enjoyed our stay in Sesto Godana. It is a spacious house with lovely balcony. The beds were decent, the host friendly. Speaks only a little English. The house is noisy. If you have noisy neighbors above, you can hear everything. Trips are absolute minimum of half an hour away. But the peace that you experience around the house is worth. Recommended is the beach in Marina di Carrara (40 minutes), the boat trip to Porte Venere from La Spezia, Sestri Levanti (market), Levanto and Florence (2 hours). In the village (5 minutes) is a supermarket where you can buy everything. The staff is very friendly. There is a pizza to eat in or take away. And two restaurants to eat. Margaritha restaurant is highly recommended. Not expensive and delicious food. For a very large supermarket, you can visit La Spezia. The village of Rio is very photogenic and fun to just go walking \\ / driving.

We enjoyed our two weeks vacation in Italy. Great weather and beautiful omgeving.Wel pity that you always have to drive far. Cinque Terre and Portovenere we found very rewarding. But Luca and Pisa (Tuscany) are doing from Sesta Godano well. The house is spacious and has a balcony with stunning views. For children, however, there is little to do in the area.

Lovely holiday. Spacious and friendly opzet.Hulpvaardige eigenaar.Wij had the ground floor. The upstairs apartment is verhuurd.Dat means that you must consider others. In that respect we were fortunate with twice fine neighbors from the Netherlands.

Want to stay in a quiet environment, then this place is excellent. Very friendly verhuurder.Een bit outdated furniture, but large terrace with stunning views. Also an ideal angle to visit. The "Cinque Terre" April is an ideal month for this. (Not too hot) Definitely worth. The walks in the mountains are fantastic and the villages very nice and cozy. Also a day trip to Genova is possible from Sesta Godano. We have already enjoyed our week!

We had a nice vacation in this well appointed home. pleasant owner. beautiful view from terrace. nice surrounding typical Italian dorpjes.op biking distance to the store. it is finding good restaurants. for our beautiful town on the sea Camogli. Cinque Terre is very touristy and when we were there only accessible by train. there are certainly around to find. equally beautiful villages

In the vicinity reigns just rest and as we were looking for. We have short walks in the vicinity of the house. The main rest we found on the Ligurian coast. We have visited the Cinque Terre towns by train, which was a fantastic experience. Also places like La Spezia and Rapallo are very worthwhile.

A very spacious tastefully furnished apartment. It's pretty quiet, with lots of possibilities for excursions. You get great value for money. For the children there is not something going on and there is no wifi. Perhaps not ideal for them. But otherwise a aanrader.Wij had a part and, unknown to us, families with young adult children had the other part. We have had no problems with each other. So you can, but with a group or 2 (large) families, there is of course wonderful for.

A beautiful house, but too big for two people. Nice setting, but not much to do nearby. For example, nearest large town is La Spezia. Nice owner who tries to speak English. No big supermarket nearby, we always find a nice opportunity to see. Products from a country Three bedroom house with bad beds and a cramped shower. Nice large balcony with a nice view of the valley with the village sesto Godano.

This property is very well located to visit at a reasonable price. Cinque Terre The house offers you the foundation to spend a nice holiday. By We had 3 children here and they have good amused. Just a pity the musty closets which is not ideal for a astmapatiënt.Al already had fun break.

The first two weeks of July 2011 stayed five of us (including 3 children aged from 4/8 years) in this beautiful, peaceful location in the middle of nature located accommodation. Nice spacious living areas! Especially the spacious balcony and stunning views were in the taste. Which accounts for about half an hour journey along narrow mountain roads to the sea (Levanto and Bonnasola beautiful beaches and the nearest) With the boat from Rapallo to the beautiful harbor of Portofino is a must.

The house is perfect, well furnished. Amazing views, lots to do within a short distance (Portofino, Portevenere, Cinque Terre, golf in Rapallo, Sestri Levanti). For the house from the village towards Rio drive, you will see the house on the right course. In Sesta Godano is much to do, no decent restaurants. But you near fine lunch, a simple dinner in the cottage is doable.

The location of the house is very nice, it's very quiet. The landlord is very nice, but speaks no German and very little English. On the road to Rio a Berlin has a house, who check us in interpretation, is also a very pleasant person. The facilities (kitchen, bathroom, living room, etc.) is extensive and cook sauber.Wer not even want to find in a pizzeria (Varese direction on the left) is a pleasant and friendly atmosphere with excellent food.

The holiday home is near the beautiful Cinque Terre National Park situated. The old villages are mainly, but also outside this park apart, very beautiful and very cozy. The owner of Crocetta is very friendly and respects privacy completely. The house is spacious, clean and fully equipped.

location, quiet, large terrace (East) with a breathtaking view. In the amount of SESTE Gondano (the nearest town with a supermarket, butcher, etc..) To Rio, we recognize from afar the house. Owner, M Bertoni, friendly, full of goodwill and discreet. We, 2 couples plus one dog, took the train to Levanto (30 min by car from Rio) to visit the Cinque Terre and Genoa.

We found this very nice place. Here z "n fivers been (3 children aged 6, 4 and 1) and we have a wonderful time here. Around the house, the children could enjoy messing around and it was a nice quiet area. We have every day towards the coast gone (half an hour) and continue the towns in the area and visited the Cinque Terre (by train and boat). The house is quite luxurious for Italian standards differ and there is even a washing machine. The large terrace is beautiful fenced and therefore risks free for small children. Recommendations to visit further: again Cinque Terre, Portevenere and Sestri Levante.

Very nice house ... very quiet .. in a beautiful setting ... about 3 km. of the supermarket / bakery in the village ... Few good restaurants / Pizza parlors nearby .. The restaurant in the village you can only eat 2 types of pasta ... unfortunately ... and the pizzeria was closed ... Little supermarkets nearby .. (Or in the large villages on the sea!) Very nice owner. We arrived too late (file 8 km. Gottardtunnel in april ..) but when you call in advance as this is absolutely not a problem ... Too bad that the owner does not speak a word of English and we have almost no italian ...! But yet he understood that we would later arrive ...

We have in July 2008 for a week in this beautiful house sat. It was just completed (new construction or restoration?) And gave equal a pleasant impression. Nice bedrooms, stylishly decorated. Especially the large terrace with panoramic views over the vineyards and hills is fantastic. A very quiet place with enough attractions nearby (30 to 40 minutes). The 5 villages on the coast (Cinque Terre) are well worth a visit. All in all highly recommended!

- In the village itself are plenty of nice restaurants with local traditional dishes, perfectly safe environment for children
- Ideal for mountain biking and walking to visit surrounding villages
- At only few miles in Sesta Godano you can see a famous Roman Bridge
- On Saturday the weekly farmers market in Sesta Godano
- In Airola you have a famous work of the Flemish Jan van Hemessen
- Take a boat to admire the Cinque Terre from the water, and for sports enthusiasts there is the "passeggiata dell'Amore" from Riomaggiore. The walk of love, which goes from one village of the 5 Terre to another.
- 2 km away is a river for bathing, canoeing, horseback riding, rock climbing, skiing (winter) at and for fishing, hiking, biking. There are waterfalls, white water rafting (rafting), Delta Plano and skydiving.
- In a few minutes you're on the famous seaside 5 Terre e on the Gulf of the Poets where famous writers like DH Lawrence and Lord Byron spent their summers.
- Lerici and Porto Venere are the two picturesque towns par excellence, an absolute MUST
- An hour from Pisa, Lucca, Florence and Genoa are also not much further, to do good for a day trip!
