We were a bit scared for the state of the home due to some other reviews below, but honestly nothing to be afraid of. Yes, the house is a bit old but other than that it was more than okay.

There is a big garage that we used as our gym, the room in the garage and toilet were okay. No humidity. The space in the living room and dining room was very big, so ideal for the 8 of us.

The kids loved the space upstairs to play when it was too hot outside.

The kitchen was well equipped. We were nothing short. The other rooms were fine as well.

There is a big terrace outside and a gated pool. The pool was a little bit chilly, but a nice refreshment. Another plus is that there are shutters on every window.

So actually a very pleasant stay for us!

The environment is super calm, Calamane is really a small, rustic village. Cahors is nearby and is a lively, fun city. The house is very quiet, no problems with neighbors, insight is also very limited. The villa is spacious and is equipped with everything. The children had a great time in the pool, for the youngest (3) the water was a little too cold. The kitchen and bathroom were neat, nice that there were some basic stuff such as coffee filters, salt, washing dishes, ... were present, as well as the bottle of wine on arrival! In the play corner there were numerous fun games available. We had a wonderful holiday here!

We had a nice holiday but had expected something more from the house. Positively beautiful living space, the children have all the space to play, practical kitchen, bedrooms on the ground floor were quite ok and the pool provided good cooling. The house is also very centrally located to make various excursions. Negative you notice that the house has been rented for a long time and maybe not always with the necessary respect (collection of difference, glasses, bags, plates, etc .., zippers broken off seat covers, many tiles away in the pool, ..., but we were particularly disappointed about the bedroom "basement", which is located in an unfinished garage so that the room not only feels clammy but also smells a bit stale (especially in the toilet).

Day of arrival: house with people in the pool still at 3 p.m. No WIFI: despite reminders. Humidity in the basement impossible to sleep in the room. Would have liked to have information on the pool alarm, rings when it's windy. On arrival, empty yoghurt drink next to the barbecue, empty water bottle in the rosebushes.

We had been looking forward to our holiday in the Dordogne, but this was not what we expected. The area is beautiful but the accommodation was certainly not in order. We would call the manager a few hours before arrival, but always got the answering machine, after several times we were called back with the mention the house is in order, keys are in a certain place even on departure not seen Arrived in the house the pool turned out to be full of green deposits, not maintained at all. The garden was full of weeds, the stone garden table full of grease stains, loose stones on the garden wall. The shower is not maintained at all, full of mold !! The temperature control of the shower faucet does not work, water is always too hot. The temperature control of the oven in the kitchen does not work, watch out because the croissants are black (even at the lowest setting). Wallpaper in the bedroom comes loose everywhere. House is equipped for 8 people but knows that then 2 people must sleep in the basement. After several emails to Belvilla the pool was cleaned and an attempt was made to replace the silicone, but the mold is so deep that the entire shower needs to be cleaned. A pity for us because we only had 2 more days of vacation.

We had a very good holiday. It is very quiet and you can walk well. It is suitable for families with children who only go for the rest. The house is very clean and spacious, the beds are very good and the cleaning lady was very friendly. the pool is certainly big enough and you have a nice view of the mountains. We have been to Calamane and it was very nice. It is a very small village, but its location on a hill is very nice and the view is quite nice. Everyone there is very friendly. we did a market in Cahors and it was interesting if you're wine or foie gras lover. Overall, we had a great holiday and we can recommend the villa to anyone

A fantastic holiday in a perfect villa! The pool was extremely nice and with excellent maintenance man was any problem within a day opgelost.Zeer well situated for exploring the Lot.

We have 2 families had a wonderful week in this house with swimming pool. The house is spacious, the garden is spacious, the pool is perfect and the Lot is a very nice area. On hot summer days the rooms at the front of the house very hot to sleep in.
