Peralada:
The town of Peralada breathes history on all sides, from the first Iberian walled enclosure to the medieval era, it is a perfect town to get lost in time.
What to visit:
•\tRecommended, 14th century Peralada`s castle, the guided tour includes visiting the library, with more than 80,000 antient book, the church and the cloister, the antique blown glass and the wine related museum.
•\tRecommended, the Casino Castillo de Peralada, unique for its construction, during the summer months an important musical festival is celebrated,
world-wide known artists performing every year.

•\tSotamuralla- Mediterranean cuisine, a little expensive but excellent.

•\tIn the centre of the town at the Plaza del Carmen, there is a bakery that makes exquisite bread.

Markets:
•\tIn Figueres, fruits and vegetables, every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 7 to 14 Plaça del Gra and Plaça Catalunya.

Roses : 20 km.
What to visit:
•\tRecommended, La Ciudadela is a fortified enclosure, during the 11th century it was built around the Romanesque monastery of Santa María de Roses. Extended in the twelfth century, finally on the sixteenth century the final fortification was built. I advise you to take the guided tour.

The gastronomic offer is very extense and of the highest quality .

Cadaqués: 35km.
Without doubt the most beautiful town of the Costa Brava, Cadaqués breathes a special atmosphere, its streets, its people, its beaches and coves, a must, top Mediterranean essence.
What to visit:
•\tThe whole town is beautiful.
•\t The house of the painter Salvador Dalí in Porlligat (essential)
•\tCap de Creus, Natural place, recommended to visit the lighthouse, at the end of the road, there is a very original and informal restaurant with a terrace and great sea views.

What to visit:
•\tUndoubtedly the most recommended are the ruins of Empuries, Greek and Roman. During the summer, plays and visits are organized in different languages.
•\tSant Martí d’Empúries, Small medieval village, next to L’Escala, the surroundings are beautiful, several restaurants.

Empuriabrava 15Km.
Empuriabrava, is the largest residential Marina in Europe, It has 23km of navigateble channels, a small airport and 5000 moorings, in Empuriabrava you will find a great commercial and gastronomic offer.
Empuriabrava is a residential nucleus belonging to the town of Castelló d'Empuries, if you like history, in Castelló d'Empuries you can spend an afternoon touring this medieval town.

Figueres 9,3 Km.
Undoubtedly the highlight is the museum of the painter Salvador Dalí, recommended, better to have tickets in advance, long queues in summer. (avoid cloudy days due to the large influx of people)
Figueres is the capital of the region, has a great gastronomic and commercial offer.

A fishing village, similar to Cadaqués, with a good gastronomic offer.
What to visit:
The most interesting is the Monastery of Sant Pere de Rodes, XI century XII, guided tours, 3 euros per person, audiovisual, a beautiful sights, ideal to visit with the family.
Beaches:
There are several beaches in Port de la Selva, some are very small and difficult to access, but it's worth it, the biggest one is right in front of the village

Girona 52 k.
The city of Girona, is one of the most interesting in Catalonia, it allows you to travel back in time more than two thousand, wide cultural and gastronomic offer, advisable to go through the old town.
What to visit: there are countless recommended sites.
