A nice house with a nice swimming pool. Suitable for rest seekers. The arrival and information was good. The information on what to do is in the area could be more extensive and more current. There is plenty to do if you want to drive a bit, but it takes some trouble to find out. The Dutch contact was well accessible and responded to questions. Unfortunately, not all apartments were occupied. The children had fun playing some toys.

Arrival was a snapshot: unpaved roads that were not all on the navigation. Quinta was nice and looked good, as did the swimming pool. Cottage was very minimalist equipped (for example, 2 wine glasses for a 4-person cottage). Terrasset consisted of a decrepit and dirty garden table and four cheap plastic bucket seats. House was also not really clean: dusty and lots of cobwebs. Mixed feeling with it all. Another disadvantage is that a car is really needed. It really is the middle of nowhere. But when you go out, for example, the nearby Douro Valley makes a lot of good.

We were here in the May and were the only guests on the property. It is a beautiful area, and we could use the whole piece, there are benches everywhere sought out nicely. It is a beautiful area where we still had a visit from a hop. The pool was not open yet, there is still too fresh for the end of April. There will be occasional work, but that did not interfere. Upon arrival, the fact that we had to cross to get to the small car a shock. At the cottage was a river But even after a big night of rain turned out that fine to go, and it went every time a big adventure as again by the river for the children. Location is central to Duorogebied, beautiful mountains near, Braganca and Chaves an hour.

Very nice and quiet area. Swimming is not too big but still offers the opportunity to swim and verfrissen.Een roof over the pool provides protection against the sun. Air conditioning in the house is available and is necessary. A fun vacation for the family.

This casa looks a bit austere on the outside. Once you are inside you see a beautiful authentic renovated house offers all the comfort and space. It is a beautifully maintained Quinta overlooking the hills between vineyards and olive trees. We are very pleased with our week in the former caretaker's house. Tastefully furnished and virtually fully equipped. The villa is ideal for those seeking tranquility and is a good base to explore the wider area. Readers for a tip in the mood: "Ernestina" by J. Interest rates de Carvalho. This novel from 1998 takes place in the area of u200bu200bthe quinta. It gives an interesting perspective on the history of this region during the last century. We had a very nice holiday. The location is really beautiful. We were very hospitable welcome by Ronald, a Dutch manager, who lives in Portugal. You can really enjoy the peace and quiet. The nearest supermarket is 30 minutes away. Extracting shopping and eating in a restaurant is there much cheaper than in the Netherlands. What puzzled us is that there is very little Portuguese also speak English. But that did have its charm again. The cottage was very nicely decorated and it was nice to be able to cool off in the pool, where you have a magnificent view while swimming. Postage and wine both Quinta dos Espinheiros (quinta of the owner of the house) and Quinta do Passadouro (quinta where Ronald rents rooms and gives tours) were delicious. The two weeks that we had been flown here. We have seen many of the area. My favorite part was the visit to Porto (top as "a double-decker bus drove around), Braganca (nice walk on the city walls and the castle and along the river) and Miranda do Douro (you can get free pedal boat or a boat sailing between the gap where the Douro forms the border between Portugal and Spain) and there is a nice playground for children
