A dream vacation. A real family home, full of charm, large rooms, decorated with souvenirs, personal objects brought back from distant trips which give a "cabinet of curiosities" feel. The calm, the view of the mountains, a discreet and considerate owner . If you can't stand a small spider or an impromptu visit from the squirrel that lives in the garden, this is not for you. Otherwise, I recommend with your eyes closed!!!!

Very well equipped, pleasant reception (only French speaking). The house stayed nice and cool because of the thick walls. The covered terrace was ideal. And of course a beautiful swimming pool. We camped out almost exclusively. Lovely quiet spot with a beautiful view. The road to it is a bit narrow.

The house is very spacious and beautifully situated in the middle of the Ardèche nature reserve, on top of a mountain. There is a lot of privacy, you only hear the sound of the crickets and in our case the children (4 & 6) who kept splashing in the blissful swimming pool. Be careful with the little ones, the pool is not closed with a gate and there is no alarm, you can close the roof. The cottage was recently renovated and retained its French charm. Downstairs and on the 1st floor it stays pretty cool, but on the upper floor (with 3 sleeping places) it gets hot quickly. The house has all the necessary facilities and the covered terrace allows you to live outside all the time. Small note for the owner, the parasol at the pool really needs to be replaced. A bakery and shop are 5 to 10 minutes by car in the village. If you want to make a trip (eg swimming at the Pont d "Arc,), you have to drive 45 minutes, but you do drive through the beautiful nature. In this region you can especially enjoy the peace and the sun, swimming or canoeing on the rivers, walking or cycling.We have experienced a fantastic beautiful week!

Very pleasant reception. Beautiful home. Everything you need is there. Only the way to the house requires good driving skills. The house itself sometimes needs a thorough maintenance (cobwebs). In the village itself, there is little to do. Swimming pool is Max 26 degrees and can not be heated which is a pity for the smallest. But as a final conclusion: fantastic house, fantastic location. You only hear nature here. And see no one else.

Beautiful villa located on a mountain. The view is beautiful in a quiet area. The villa has all available facilities and is well maintained. Much attention was also paid to the swimming pool. The owner speaks some English, at least enough to start a conversation. The ground floor is wonderfully cool and you can sit outside under the canopy in the shade. The attic is warm, we opened the skylights in the evening, but closed them again when the children went to bed because of the mosquitoes. The road where the villa is attached was a daily challenge for us as our car turned out to be quite large. There are few facilities in the immediate vicinity. In the village is a 5-minute drive away is a bakery, a butcher and a small supermarket. For more amenities you can easily drive 45 minutes. This also applies to the sights and other activities. In hindsight, this was a shame, but the villa itself is great and for the villa itself we would come back soon!

Very attractive fully renovated house fully equipped and with a nice swimming pool. Located against a hill with fantastic unobstructed views. 100% privacy. Rather a 4 person house because of the 2 bedrooms. Very narrow road from the valley to the top. Too narrow for oncoming traffic, but fortunately only a very sporadic car. Sanitary and kitchen fine but the latter a bit greasy. Cleaning could be a little better overall. You really come here for your rest. Wim Bentum

Hospitality received by the owner. Beautifully refurbished house equipped with all conveniences. Cleaning can be better, but maybe because we were the first guests of the season. Great pool which can be used by the weather in a very nice weather. The wifi regularly drops and needs to be restarted. Environment very quiet and pittoresque. For repeatability.

The owner normally lives in this house which means that it is full of his private belongings. When we arrived he still had to get his clothes out of his closet. The house was not very clean and very messy. Which is why we think the price-quality ratio is really good.

The house is far from clean, cobwebs everywhere, etc. The swimming pool has a cover in 2/3 that cannot be removed; otherwise it's okish... Positive; The location is fantastic!
