Fantastic and wonderfully comfortable holiday home that is truly equipped with all amenities and complies 100% with the photos and description on Belvilla. The house is located in a truly beautiful but quiet area, ideal even if you have children. If you just like If you like walking (or mountain biking), you are within 500 meters of the most beautiful walking routes that the Ardennes can offer. Supermarkets, etc. are all accessible within a short distance.

Only Belvilla's accompaniment was not ok but the contacts with the people on the spot were more than ok. Personally, I think that the last time we will book via Belvilla, no response to our mails, even emergency number no response. Fortunately, it was not necessary because of the good contact with the owner, everything went smoothly. Our opinion about the accommodation, perfect, good reception, well maintained, luxurious, private on top and a lot of possibilities to either walk or visit . We do not have a few points, maybe just the additional costs for gas and water consumption, normally this is included in the price, just after I understand the owners, if you make the bubble bath fill and warm several times a day, or if If you want to pay the sauna, it is normal for you to pay. Again, thanks to Monique.En Belvilla, if you still want to convince us, you will be able to get seriously out of the pipe.

The owner of the house was already waiting for us when we arrived. A very friendly woman who welcomed us and showed the house. The house was nicely clean and fully equipped. There is a spacious garden in front of the house and on the side a terrace with a garden set and another table with 8 chairs. the whole garden is fenced but the fence is not very high. Luckily our dog did not jump over it but that could have happened. The area is very quiet. There are a few houses in the area and further meadows and woods.

Very nice house to go to. Nice wood stove, sauna and whirlpool. Several bathrooms and lots of space if you are with several people.
From the cottage you can walk straight into the woods, several beautiful hiking trails, with height differences. Highly recommended.

The holiday home in Theux was the perfect getaway for our family of six, The spacious layout allowed everyone to have their own space, and the enclosed garden was a hit with the kids, We spent our days hiking through the nearby forest and even took a trip to Plopsaland, which was only a short drive away, In the evenings, we relaxed in the sauna and bubble bath, enjoying some quality family time by the fireplace, Everything was clean and well-maintained, making our stay comfortable, Highly recommend it for families!

On arrival there was nobody present although we had emailed the time of arrival. After a phone call we were helped and we could enter. The house was spacious and very neat. The garden was well fenced, ideal for our four-legged friend. Pal at the house you can walk into the forest but is nowhere signposted. But 10 minutes by car you can take beautiful walks along eg the niglichspo, a small river. Also Spa and Malmedy nearby.

Mooi huis, badkamers konden beter. De ene douche loopt het water onderaan het raam los de vloer op en de andere badkamer kon de afvoer het water niet op tijd opnemen waardoor het water uit de inloopdouche loopt.
Bubbelbad was ook jammer, bubbels stopten om de minuut.
Tuin was degelijk, heel goed voor de honden.
Rustig gelegen, degelijke bedden en keuken.

Upon arrival, the house had been cleaned thoroughly and the windows had been left open for ventilation. It was nice and cool, despite the fact that it been warm and sunny. Unfortunately the open windowshad let in some flies and a lot mosquitoes, the latter pricking my youngest son many times. We kept the windows closed after that, but kept encountering them. The cottage would greatly benefit from screen doors.
The house was well equipped, plenty of pots and pans (the biggest frying pan could use replacing though), plates, cups, bowls and cutlery. We were surprised to find a Nestle Dolce Gusto next to a normal coffee machine and water boiler. The sofa was comfortable, but had some wear and tear. The TV had mostly french language stations, but also a few Flemmisch, Dutch, German and UK.
The bedrooms were decorated tastefully, mattresses were fine, pillows a bit too thin and soft for our taste. The upstairs entertainment room was just great for the kids, but unfortunately only two or three DVD movies were Dutch, the rest French and English. The WiFi was adequate, with reception in most of the house apart from the furthest bedrooms. Upatairs Shower was spacious and comfortable and had a blow dryer. Didn't use the downstairs bathroom, sauna or gym, but the kids did enjoy the hot tub.

Neat clean house! Some defects .... jacuzzi leaked, hot water boiler went out several times (cold water to shower as a result) Oven does not work properly, do not get hot enough. Separating waste was very unclear ... too few debris bags, where do we put the glass? If tip / fly screens would certainly not be a superfluous luxury, very much bothered by mosquitoes !!!

Owner arrived late on arrival. House well cared for and clean. Sports equipment that was offered did not work in terms of functions. No problem for us, but the question is whether you should advertise with it. Surroundings are beautiful, lots of walking opportunities. Nice cities like Spa, Remouchamps close by.
