Charming house very well equipped (dishwasher, ping-pong, games for children in the garden, swimming pool, backpack, umbrella, barbecue, everything is there!). The house is quiet 10 minutes walk from the beautiful village of Saint-Léon-sur-Vézère. A park for children with accrobranche and a canoe base are also 10 walk from homeCarol and Alain are very welcoming, with lots of attention (bread, milk, homemade jam, etc. available on arrival) Great stay!

Just returned from our second holiday at this fantastic place and that is no coincidence. For us and our 4 children it was a total experience. We can't agree with other recent (and rather sour) reviews, except for the comment about the bed, which could be replaced. It is a romantic farmhouse and not an ultra-modern luxury villa. It has everything you need for a relaxing holiday in a truly fantastic place. All practical matters are present, the swimming pool is lovely and the garden and the view are beautiful. The village is picturesque and offers many options for good food. Tip: take a helicopter flight through the Vezere valley. Carole and Alain are happy to arrange it for you. Very friendly people who are always there for you.

We are very warmly welcomed by Carole and Alain (the owners). On arrival there are already some small groceries in the fridge (eggs, yogurt, milk, jam and bread) We were also provided with fresh fruit and tomatoes from our own vegetable garden during our stay. Beautiful house in a beautiful setting. House is fully equipped. (dishwasher, washing machine, oven). And the pool is great. The village of St. Leon Sur Vezere is a 10 minute walk away, where you can get bread in the morning. And at Auberge du Pont you can eat delicious pizzas. There is a lot to do in the area. Canoeing, mountain biking. But also many places of interest such as Sarlat la Caneda, various castles and caves.

We were received very hospitably by mr. and mrs. Dupont. The communication was quite possible through our high school French, but the owners do not speak English. The accommodation is beautifully situated and offers everything needed for a comfortable stay. The area offers many interesting things. Beautiful nature, nice towns at a relatively small distance and a beautiful village with restaurants and some shops within walking distance (10-15 minutes).

The house, swimming pool and garden are wonderful and the location is fantastic. The house looked just as it did from the pictures and Alain and Carole were very welcoming when we first arrived. The location was the perfect balance of being rural and peaceful but only 10 minute walk into the village of St Leon which is such a beautiful place with several great restaurants and a wonderful area of river for swimming.

We were kindly expected / expected from a distance. There were some delicacies ready with some first foods and tomatoes from the garden. The host and hostess were not too close, gave us a lot of space, and not too distant so we dared to ask things. They kindly helped us. The area has plenty to offer for family trips, but the garden and the house are also nice to be in.

Everything is present in the house. The pool looks well maintained, with various options for children. The surroundings are beautiful. You can walk, canoe, etc. Other interesting places are not very far away and are definitely worth a visit. All in all, there is something for everyone here!

This is a nice Gite in a wonderful location only a short walk from st Leon sur vezere . The property is well maintained and has everything you need however we found it lacked privacy as it is open to the road on one side and directly onto the owners property on the other.

Good reception by owners. Accomodation deserves modernization (mattress bed ground floor needs to be replaced, there is a hole in it and the bathroom first floor has an old shower and on the ground floor only a bath). In addition, the privacy at the pool is insufficient, the fence is not completely closed and also open on 1 side so that the owners who live behind it can see completely into the pool. There was some discussion about jumping into the pool by the kids due to water loss. We thought that was a bit childish because children just splash and you have to fill the pool with water.

Hi, It was dark in the apartment, even with the lights on. The decor was dated, the kitchen had only room for 1 person, so small. At the dining table were two wooden benches without backrests, not comfortable. In the toilet upstairs as well as downstairs there was no air purification or window, just a closed room. Flushing was difficult, even after flushing three times, the "big message" and the toilet paper were not gone, dirty, grubby. Creaking floor of the upstairs bedroom, so that the downstairs sleepers regularly woke up in the night or early in the morning. from Belvilla.A lot of holiday hours are lost with these times!
