Beautiful surroundings, the house is equipped with everything in terms of comfort and very pleasant to stay. There is a lot of space on the domain itself and there are no neighbors too close, so you get the impression that you are somewhere alone. The contact with the owners was done by phone and mail and was very pleasant. The house is definitely recommended in terms of accommodation, location and all necessary comfort.

the cottage is quiet. You can enjoy the beautiful view at the pool and at the table outside on the covered terrace. The air conditioning made it pleasant to sleep in the evening. This did not feel like a holiday home but like a real home.

Cristal de Roche is a beautiful holiday home: - plenty of space, both inside and outside - well-equipped kitchen with a spacious fridge and freezer and a free cupboard for your own groceries - everything you might need is available - from the terrace and by the pool you have a stunning view - the air conditioning is a godsend with the sometimes very summery temperatures - smooth communication with the owner and the man who maintains the pool

Me, who was very scared with everything you hear about vacation rentals. I was very surprised. The house was more than perfect. Quality appliances and bedding! I've never seen this in a rental. There is everything one could need. Even for children. Small flat on the outside and the swimming pool which in my opinion should be redesigned for the safety of young children. For the rest our stay went very well and the person named as contact is very responsive and professional. Do not hesitate to rent!

Quickly found. 1st contact went well. Very nice house in a quiet, beautiful area. This is not a holiday home but a fully-fledged home where everything is present just like home. The view is huge. We had nice but windy weather. That was perhaps also the reason that the swimming pool remained on the cold side. It is a pity that the heat pump does not raise the temperature. The presence of the 2nd small house is a plus. The owners will contact you during the holidays to hear how it goes. The house is very quiet but you are quickly in civilization.

The villa was a piece of the quiet road on a hill with a beautiful view over the valley and in the distance the Pyrenees. The house has a beautiful garden, a large heated swimming pool and a spacious terrace with loungers. Partly covered with dining table and comfortable dining room chairs. The house itself is very spacious and really equipped with all conveniences and comfort. We really have not lacked anything. Inside, everything is more than fully equipped from kitchen to comfortable chairs and a practical work corner. Bedrooms with comfortable beds. The area was beautiful. The immediate area was beautiful and an opportunity for walking. The surrounding villages have nice real French eateries, often of excellent quality. In the village there is a small shop where you can get bread and necessities. For the real shopping you have to drive a little further. Also a good distance away is a city like Carcassone and is also an opportunity to go canoeing for example. We enjoyed the excellent house, the beautiful surroundings and of course the weather.

Beautiful home with everything a person needs to spend his free time carefree. Villa is located on a location with a beautiful view over the lower village. At the pool you can enjoy the sun all day. The covered terrace offers you the opportunity to take a break in the shade and enjoy long pleasant evenings outside. Moreover, the house has nice spacious rooms and there is overall air conditioning. Very well kept and practically furnished villa. Due to high satisfaction, we booked this property for two consecutive years. Highly recommended in a nice relaxing environment.

It is a very nice holiday home and everything was present. The owners were also certainly accommodating in letting us into the house earlier. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the drain was immediately clogged; when we informed them, the owners sent someone right away to fix it. On Wednesday, the cleaning lady came to pick up the laundry from the previous tenants, and we didn't need to be in the house for this. We found it a bit bizarre, as this lady just came into the house while our belongings were there. On Friday, John, the man who maintains the pool, came by. He just added some chlorine tablets and shock chlorine to the drains. We also informed him that there was a leak in the air conditioning in one of the rooms. We had rented this house in previous years, and this problem was already there then. The owners immediately appointed someone to fix it, which we obviously appreciate for the quick action, but at the moment the repairmen arrived, my 3-year-old daughter was sleeping in the room. The repairmen said it was no problem and that they were just passing by because they happened to be working nearby, but they could come back the next day or later in the week. The next morning, before we left, John, who maintains the pool, came by again, very unfriendly, and made a nasty comment that it was not a smart move to send the repairmen away because it would have cost the owners a fortune. Meanwhile, the repairmen were sent to the house the day before without actually knowing if we were even present in the house. According to John, he would have to let the repairmen in if we were not there. Personally, I think, especially since this has been a problem since last year, that these are things that can happen on the changeover day. This was not an urgent repair. The same goes for picking up the laundry. These are things that can perfectly happen on Saturday between 10 AM and 5 PM when the house is empty, waiting for the new tenants. I do not think it is our responsibility to adjust our holiday plans for repairmen, maintenance people, and the cleaning lady. We had to leave the house on Saturday by 10 AM, and at 9:30 AM, the cleaning lady was already waiting impatiently in the driveway, and we even had to strip all the sheets from the beds for her. Afterwards, we also received an email from the owners stating that we left the bathrooms dirty, which is absolutely inappropriate and completely untrue. I don't know what is expected, but if one pays nearly 200 euros for a final cleaning, it seems to me that it is not the intention for us to mop and scrub the house upon departure and change all the beds. And then to receive the responsibility and the comment regarding the air conditioning repairmen is very unprofessional. It is very unfortunate that our holiday ended on such a negative note; we could have just as well said nothing about the sink and the air conditioning and left the problem for the next tenants.
