The cottage is really fantastic, everything is there that you can think. The beds were lovely. The only thing that was a bit less for us was the quality of the wifi, and the lavender bushes at the pool attract a lot of vermin so you can't lie quietly at the pool, but otherwise we had a wonderful holiday. its .beautiful environment HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Beautiful here. This house L "Horizon is a dream. We love the great, well-kept house, the ambience with pool and the idyllic location in the small town of Escales. What a lovely house! So fully furnished, with books and games! So much space and we felt right at home! So quiet and such a beautiful view! And the pool is blissful! Just a pity that the first night the power went out and that the rental company that arranges everything, was not reachable! Dear neighbors next to us got the power working again the next day. The area is beautiful with many grape trees. We were there exactly in the picking period, that was nice to see.We have had such a wonderful time that we have already booked again for next year!

It's very nice again, we were very happy about the carport, which is still urgently needed and would be really recommended are mosquito protection windows, sometimes we had up to 10 new ones per day.
Nevertheless, we recommend the house again this year.

The reception was outsourced to Kuypers rental. Impersonal and practical, but complete and clear. Everything within the fence of the apartment was really fantastic. A beautiful luxury apartment, with all the trimmings. The pool area was lovely and the terrace very cozy. The view was truly phenomenal. The immediate area is not special. Apart from the beautiful villas that are fairly close together, it is visible that it has only recently been rebuilt. On our hikes with our dog, regular glass fragments, empty window frames, and other indefinable debris encountered, what I think were remains The nature around is otherwise very rugged and certainly has its own charm.The villages in the area are very nice, but there is a lot of vacancy in the villages, so there was not really any real French cosiness , as we are used to from other holidays in France. In our opinion, this apartment, especially recommended, for a holiday focused on a nice, luxurious, pleasant stay within the fence of the rented accommodation.

We had an amazing family getaway at the Luxury Villa in Escales! The private pool was the highlight of our stay—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the beautiful surroundings, The villa itself was spacious and well-equipped, with a lovely outdoor terrace where we enjoyed our meals, The kids loved the nearby tennis court and the local supermarket was just a short drive away for any essentials we needed, It was also great to be only a day trip from Carcassonne, which we explored on our last day, Highly recommend this place for families!

Lovely house, very nice that each bedroom has its own air conditioning and can be set to degrees. Lovely sitting in the roof by the pool, Really a surplus value. Wifi works less well if you want to stream eg. Had a wonderful 2 weeks doubt for this accommodation, but just book.

Complete house with a beautiful view. Lovely heated swimming pool and plenty of terraces where you can sit, both in the sun and in the shade. You can walk from the house, straight into nature. Well entertained.

The house is beautiful and has a very nice pool. But it was not as clean as the last time we visited. On top of this, there were road constructions on the street where the villa was located. This was announced by information placed by the city on the street, and it took place exactly during the 2 weeks we had booked. No one from Belvilla informed us about this known planned construction in advance. After experiencing one day of loud construction work, we had to decide to leave after just 5 days because this is no longer a valuable holiday.

The house is a beautiful villa for six people located on the outskirts of the village of Escales.
This villa has plenty of privacy, a large enclosed garden (1500 m2), a covered terrace and a private heated swimming pool. There are beautiful panoramic views over the Minervois valley with its rolling vineyards and the Montagne Noire in the background.
The villa has three bedrooms, three bathrooms, Wi-Fi and air conditioning.
Escales has a historic centre, with narrow streets and many old houses, which give it a cosy and typical atmosphere. Within walking distance of the villa you will find a bakery and a grocery shop, where you can pick up fresh croissants in the morning.
Around the house there is a well-kept garden (1500 m2) with all kinds of Mediterranean plants and a private swimming pool * which can be generously heated * measuring 4 x 8 metres (1.20 to 1.80 m deep). The heated pool allows you to enjoy a pleasant pool water temperature all year round.
There is a large private poolside terrace and a covered terrace with a luxurious lounge set and hammock.
Around the pool there are 6 sun loungers and a separate seating area to enjoy the magnificent views over the Minervois valley.
Of course, there is a stone barbecue (charcoal) for preparing the tastiest dishes.
The garden is completely enclosed and ideal for your holiday in the sun with a dog.
Escales is a village in the heart of the beautiful Minervois wine region. The village has a historic centre with narrow streets and many old houses. Here you can fully experience the typical French atmosphere. In the village, there is a grocery shop within walking distance for basic needs, such as bread. For your daily shopping, you can go to the supermarket in La Redorte, about 5 km away. For a larger supermarket or other shops and the weekly market, you can visit the town of Lézignan-Corbières (about 8 km). There is a restaurant in the village, L'Escale des Gourmets, open daily for lunch and dinner.
You can visit the historic centre of Carcassonne, famous for its medieval walled city.
The culturally rich city of Narbonne, with its beautiful cathedral, is also well worth a visit. From Escales, you can reach the Mediterranean in less than 45 minutes by car. Via the boulevards of Saint Pierre La Mer, Narbonne-Plage and Gruissan.
