A great nice comfortable holiday home, all on the ground floor with outdoor terrace and garden, also ideal for our dog. Within walking distance of the dam and Diemelsee. There is also a dog beach there, next to the normal beach. At the fährhaus nice on the terrace and there are also beautiful hiking trails.
We are here for the second time and have again really enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and the holiday home, greetings from Marsberg

A cozy holiday home in a fantastic location! There are several walking routes that start almost directly from the house and you can walk straight to the impressive dam. The house is heated with electric heaters, but with temperatures below zero outside it was still nice and warm. The Willingen ski area can be reached in fifteen minutes. We had a wonderful holiday with our children!

The welcome was very friendly, even though we actually arrived much too late. The cottage itself was dated, but 'fine' and very clean. It really does need a major overhaul. We did some small things ourselves, such as tightening the door handles. The kitchen was really very small and special. We were able to save ourselves, but was not very handy. What was very nice were the shutters on the windows, you kept it nice and cool. The sound of the TV was murky, and without WiFi and a poor network coverage, we were pretty cut off from the outside world. The cottage for 4 people is also really on the small side. We were a family with 2 large teenagers, my youngest slept on the couch. It consists of a double bed, a (somewhat rickety) bunk bed and a folding bed. However, I have no idea where to put it. There really isn't room for this. But despite all this we had a great holiday. Recommended for people who don't like luxury.

Arrival was good. Still beautiful surroundings. Accommodation is in a quiet location. Large living room. A large bedroom and nice bathroom. Other sleeping arrangements a bit tricky.

The cottage was not clean on arrival, many cobwebs. We first had to clean the kitchen ourselves before we could use it. The kitchen is in any case impossible small. You can only enter one person at a time. The extractor only does it when the kitchen light is on, we had to find out for ourselves. The bathroom door can not close. The first thing that stood out was a dirty toilet brush. The shower head can not be hung. The water is always alternating or very cold or very hot. My daughter has suffered a lot of pain. There is a room with a double bed and a room with a bunk bed where there is also a folding bed. The mattress on that folding bed is terrible. The feathers come straight through. We only found out after my daughter had slept there for several nights. The defense when we reported this afterwards was that she had said that we could make a bed from the couch and that the folding bed is not for use ..... Nothing said and put down a folding bed when it is not usable, is a bit strange. The heating works with a battery, so he goes "in the evening, it gets very hot at night and then there is a very stuffy, heavy air in the house all night. In the "sunbathing area" are mouse traps, not useful if you come with your dog or children. In addition, that also does not invite to the opening of the windows to air, anyway there are many flyflies inside. Finally, the turnstile of the balcony door is broken, the bandwinders almost fall off the wall if you want to let the shutters go down and the closet in the room with the bunk bed of misery also fell apart. In short, I really can not recommend the house. The area on the other hand is beautiful for walking. Especially with dogs that is wonderful. I can definitely recommend the environment. The house is NOT.

The interior of the property is dated, size bedroom features a new wardrobe and bed. Bathroom was very tidy, a pity that the shower head is not fully inserted into the holder and all sides sprayed on. The kitchen is very small well enough stuff there, too bad that the sink was clogged (is).

In the May a nice week away abroad was 4 hours away still quite close. The German Plotters then do not break so it was very quiet. Nice weather and a lot more to entertain us. If we did not feel like cooking in the kitchen rather small we were facing allegations at the hotel directly across the street (closed Monday and Tuesday), with a nice sunny terrace and large playground.

A fine house. The railway station, which fits well on themselves in the atmosphere of the house and surroundings. The cleaning could be better. The area is wonderful for walking or cycling. Unfortunately we were not anywhere walking with the stroller. Along the lake are a few nice restaurants. In the lake you can enjoy swimming in very warm weather. We are a electric boat across the lake hazards, a nice experience and definitely worth it. further is not much to do in the immediate area. After a week we had all seen in the area. However, highly recommended is the dinner at the restaurant opposite the house. Delicious food and very friendly staff. Upon request, you can have breakfast (buffet). We did this the last few days and liked super. In the evening you can enjoy in the beer garden of various drinks. (Carrying a baby monitor is recommended, when the kids are in bed, you'll be fine to sit on the terrace.)

A great house in a beautiful setting. Beautiful centrally between familiar places like Willingen and Korbach. Only the kitchen is super small, but everything you need is there. And in front of the house is an excellent café restaurant with delicious and affordable food. Super!

Basic furnished but neat clean and functional. The apartment is quiet, has a secluded garden (useful because of the dog) with terrace. The kitchen can not say enough, the bathroom, however, is completely renewed. Within 2minutes walk to the lake where walking and can be. Cycled Very helpful and accessible owner.
