Great skiing terrain during winter and a great place for wilderness trips on foot and fishing in many waters and rivers in the green season. The house is located at the top of the hill with a great view over the village and the mountain landscape. Living room, kitchen and bathroom on the ground floor. On the first floor, there are three bedrooms, two with two single beds that can be combined into double beds and one bedroom with a double sofa bed. Skorovatn is located south of lake Tunnsjøen and is a disused mining community. A large wilderness area surrounds the mountain village and is an eldorado for those who want to walk in untouched nature. Several roads and paths lead towards the Swedish border and provide great opportunities for varied walks. There are many fishing lakes and rivers where fishing can be done against the purchase of a fishing licence. The area has a rich animal, bird and plant life. Berry picking in summer and hunting in autumn. In winter, there is great skiing here and ice fishing can be done on the many waters in the area. In Tunnsjøen, the island of Gudfjelløya rises high out of the water. Here is an old Sami sacrificial place. 300 m to the colonial shop and petrol station.

It offers 3 bedrooms and is centrally located in Lillehammer, a short distance from popular destinations for skiers such as Hafjell, Kvitfjell, Sjusjøen, and Nordseter. The area is considered an Eldorado for both alpine skiing and cross-country skiing. The vacation home has a large living room with a TV and internet, as well as a wood-burning stove and a fireplace for cold winter evenings. Firewood can be purchased on site.Bedrooms 1 and 2 are located on the upper floor. Bedroom 1 has a height-adjustable double bed. Bedroom 2 has a pull-out bed, i.e., a single bed that can easily be pulled out to form a double bed. There is some traffic noise from the road, which is about 60 meters below. In summer and fall, mushrooms and berries can be found in wooded areas just a few minutes' walk from the house. In summer, Lillehammer is also a paradise for children, with attractions including Hunderfossen Adventure Park, Lilleputthammer, and Barnas gård. Lillehammer is a cultural city with an internationally renowned art museum and the Maihaugen open-air museum. This is Norway's largest open-air museum, where you can experience more than 200 buildings from different historical periods. There are outdoor and indoor activities as well as restaurants. There is also the Norwegian Postal Museum, the Olympic Museum, and every year there is a wonderful Christmas market.

Great swimming opportunities just 50 meters from the house. The nearest large town is Kleppestø 10km away, with shopping mall, gas station, restaurants, medical center, etc. From Kleppestø there is a fast boat directly to Bergen city center. The boat departs every half hour and takes approx. 15 minutes. In the beautiful Hanseatic city of Bergen between the seven mountains, you will find tourist attractions such as Bryggen, Ulriken and Fløyen, as well as cultural offerings and restaurants. Askøy is a large island, and from Haugelandshella where the holiday home is located, you can see far out the fjord. It is a quiet and peaceful area where you can enjoy the calm and yet be close to the city. Visit popular attractions such as Herdla Museum, Tveit Church, Fodnes Church and the coastal museum in Øygarden. If you want a more active holiday, you can take great hikes in the area. We also recommend Siglingsvatnet outdoor park in the vicinity which is open all year, there are great hiking trails, lavatories, fire pits, free rental of boats and canoes, a 12-meter observation tower and much more, great for the whole family.
