Great skiing terrain during winter and a great place for wilderness trips on foot and fishing in many waters and rivers in the green season. Skorovatn is located south of lake Tunnsjøen and is a disused mining community. A large wilderness area surrounds the mountain village and is an eldorado for those who want to walk in untouched nature. Several roads and paths lead towards the Swedish border and provide great opportunities for varied walks. There are many fishing lakes and rivers where fishing can be done against the purchase of a fishing licence. The area has a rich animal, bird and plant life.
