Taxi boat can take you to the district's most exciting places, or you can take a trip with the Øysang ferry, Norway's oldest wooden boat ferry, which runs between Risør and Øysang. Risør has cozy streets, restaurants and niche shops, as well as events such as the Chamber Music Festival, the Wild Wine Market and the Tree Boat Festival.
