In the basement of the main building there is a small kiosk with information about the area as well as goods such as ice cream, soft drinks etc. and tel. no. to the landlord you can call for purchase. In the basement, there is also a bathroom with WC and shower in addition to a bathroom with WC and shower cubicle on the ground floor. On the property there is a barbecue hut with an outdoor grill. Good swimming opportunities in a pool in the nearby river and in the fjord. The area offers countless hiking opportunities and activities such as e.g. guided seal safari or fishing trips on the Lysefjorden, Flørli with the world's longest wooden staircase (4444 steps), boat to Lysebotn and trip to Kjerag. The holiday house is a good starting point for a trip to Prekestolen, or Bakken Gård with a lovely view of Prekestolen. Guided tours and fishing trips offered by the landlord who lives nearby. In the area, you can experience nature both on land and sea, and livestock such as sheep as well as animals such as deer, roe deer, foxes and hares. Charming holiday home in the center of Mandal, Norway's southernmost town with small cozy wooden houses and cobbled streets. The holiday home has 2 floors. On the ground floor there are 4 bedrooms, a bathroom and a small kitchenette. On the first floor you will find a large, pleasant living room in combination with a kitchen and dining room. Pleasant furnishings. TV with Norwegian channels. The kitchen was renovated in 1990 and the bathroom in 2010. Outside, there is a pleasant patio with garden furniture. Due to the old wooden buildings in the area, it is not allowed to light a barbecue. Guests need to bring their own linen. The holiday house is only 100 meters from the heart of cozy Mandal center with its many facilities such as cultural center, niche shops, Furulunden, restaurants and cafes. Not far from the beach, e.g. Sea sand with 800 m of sandy beach. In Mandal, you can take pleasant walks through the streets or have a picnic in the city's beautiful park, Skriverhaven. Nearby there is also a playground for the little ones and an indoor swimming pool. A visit to Ryvingen lighthouse is also a nice trip. Free parking in Emanuel Vigelandsvei, otherwise zoned parking. Garbage needs to be emptied into a container in Grensegata, 100 meters from the house.
