On the ground floor there is a hallway, 1 bedroom, and an open kitchen/dining room as well as a bathroom/laundry room. The living room is on the first floor along with 2 additional bedrooms and a toilet room. All the bedrooms have one double bed. From the first floor, there is a great view over the sea. In Åna Sira, there are countless possibilities for activities and hikes within easy reach, e.g. Helleren with an old house under the mountains, or Jøssingham where the German warship Altmark was chased into the fjord during WW2 and British soldiers freed. The Science Museum in Jøssingham is definitely worth a visit. Great hiking opportunities to Brufjellhålene and Brufjell; please note that there can be challenges in getting there, so it is best in dry and calm weather. In the area, you can find as many as 28 different hiking trails, brochures are available in the cabin. We recommend a nice trip to "Roligheden", where you cross the bridge and turn right on the hill. There are several idyllic places there and also a small, cozy cafe called "Oldemors hage” (“great grandmothers garden"). Possible to rent an 18-foot boat with 50 HP and necessary equipment. The boat season runs from 1 May to 30 September. When gutting fish, please use the stone jetty. Guests can also borrow a kayak for free. Petrol for the boat as well as food can be bought at the grocery shop Joker, open 24 hours a day. There are great swimming opportunities and ziplines 300 meters from the holiday home, and a playground for children just 100 meters away. The holiday house is a great resort with countless opportunities for family activities, fishing, tours and recreation.

The hiking path Nordsjøløypa is 7.1 km with an ascent of 384 m, the trip takes about 2.5 hours and starts in Davik. 300 m to the owner's private marina where the rental boats are located, fishing equipment can be stored in the boathouse. The coastal path is 40 km of great hiking trails. Varne's lighthouse and fort are located in a great hiking area approx. 16 km from the holiday home, and Alcoa Environmental Park (14 km) offers cycle paths and pump track. In Lyngdal, you will find indoor swimming pools at Sørlandsbadet, perfect for a family outing, or you can go to Farsund bathhouse and sauna in the center of Farsund, 6 km from the holiday home. There is a Joker grocery store within walking distance from the house (open on Sundays from June to August) as also Bispen restaurant and Havnekiosken. In Vanse, there are several restaurants and shopping opportunities.

In winter, you can go for long ski trips on snowmobile trails in the area or use the illuminated trail close to the house. Longer cross-country skiing and light trails can be found at the Saga ski stadium, Storslett. On request, the homeowner can offer whale watching in December-January. Holiday cottage perfect for a fishing holiday, near excellent fishing conditions and with a private dock and beach at your disposal. The house is relatively newly renovated, is well equipped and set up in a practical way. Heat pump. It has heated floors on the whole floor. From the house you can walk down to the sea and use this space for grilling or a lovely lunch. You are located on a farm with event room, a kitchen garden and sometimes an open cafe. You can buy bread and sometimes order dinner. The chefs also run a well-reputed and traditional restaurant in the center of Bergen, Spisekroken, which is well worth a visit. Several signed hiking trails, a golf course, a cultural centre, museum and an old fort nearby for you to visit. Bergen is only 30 minutes away. You can go fishing in between islets and islands, or out on the open sea. Porsvik is sheltered from strong winds and rough sea. The hosts are more than willing to guide you on where to fish. The dock is 45 metres away and you can rent 2 Øien 530 F 18 ft boats with 25 hp Yamaha 4-stroke motors, Hummingbird 518/519 GPS/chartplotter/sonar, and 3-4 rod holders. Life jackets included.
