On Engeløya, the Steigen church, old Viking tufts and fortifications from the Second World War are well worth a visit. The fjord is very rich in fish and a 14-foot boat with a 6 hp engine can be rented. An additional 18-foot open aluminum boat with steering console, 6 rod holders and 50 hp outboard motor for rent.
