Along the south side of the fjord, there are large dunes and an idyllic sandy beach. Large wetland area with rich bird life. In winter, summit hikes in the area are popular, where you go up the mountain and ski from the mountain tops down to the sea. Further south is the fishing village Laukvik with the open sea outside, here you can walk along the large pier that protects the harbor and enjoy the salty sea air. 43 km to Svolvær, which is the capital of Lofoten. Great starting point for car trips around Lofoten and Vesterålen through the car ferry from Fiskebøl to Melbu. Great sea fishing. You can fish inside the fjord or in the open sea area outside. In addition to ordinary sea fish, there is salmon and sea trout in the fjord. 20 foot self-draining open boat with steering console and 60 hp engine can be rented, echo sounder, chart plotter, gps and pole holders for rent as well. The boats are located at the floating dock in the marina at Fiskebøl, 9 km from the house. The boats are available 1.5-1.10 and must be booked in advance.

New and beautiful log cabin located on a hill with a beautiful view of Hurdalssjøen. From the terrace with barbecue and outdoor fireplace you can enjoy the view over the wonderful surroundings. The cottage contains a large living and dining room, 2 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms. There is a small loft above the living room if anyone wants to crawl up there and sleep. Waterborne underfloor heating throughout the cottage. Wood burning stove; one sack of firewood is included. If you want more firewood, you need to take care of it yourself. Hurdal offers beautiful fishing lakes, beaches, and skiing opportunities. The lake Hurdalssjøen is right nearby, here you can fish for pike and perch. The beautiful beach Å beach is about 3 km away with a lovely sandy beach, small benches and barbecue area. Hurdalssjøen Hotel has a pool and spa area which can be used by everyone for a fee. Råholt water park is only a 15-minute drive away. Alpaca hiking is also an activity you can take part in in Hurdal, trips of about 2 hours can be arranged for a fee. Lots of berries and mushrooms in the area. The nice farm shop Loftet at Eidsvoll is worth a visit, here you can shop and have lunch in the cozy café. In winter, you will find groomed cross-country trails right by the cottage. 10 km from Hurdal Ski Center with several slopes for both adults and children and a cafe with drinks and snacks. An hour to Oslo by car or train. If you are tempted by a summer trip aboard Skibladner, the world's oldest wheeled steamer in operation, it is just under an hour's drive to the harbor at Hamar, Kapp or Gjøvik. The holiday house is not available for youth groups.

Nice holiday home located by the fjord with beautiful views of the water. Close to the beach. The holiday home is nicely furnished with a large living room, a small kitchen, bathroom and 3 bedrooms. There are 2 large terraces where you can enjoy lazy summer days. Outdoor furniture and deck chairs available. The lawn in front of the house is great for ball games and other activities and in addition, there is a small football field by the parking lot. Several beautiful beaches in the area, including Skjellvik beach only 20 minutes walk away with great swimming possibilities and a small ice cream parlor. Fishing opportunities near the holiday home where you can catch saithe and mackerel. Sandefjord is a pleasant town with many restaurants and a bustling life during summer. Throughout the year, the cultural experiences line up: Festivals, concerts, theater, show or art - here there is a lot to choose between! Sandefjord has a total of 45 km of marked hiking trails along Vesterøya and Østerøya. You can either choose to walk there from the city center or take the car and start from one of the campsites Vøra or Langeby. Yxney on Østerøya and Folehavna on Vesterøya in Sandefjord have two completely different vantage points at the end of each peninsula. Yxney has a nature reserve, and at Folehavna you can find the remains of a German fort from 1941. Also, you could to take the ferry to Strømstad in Sweden should you fancy some more shopping.

Great skiing opportunities in winter for cross-country skiing, and if you want to go downhill, it is 30 km to Kongsberg. The cottage has a nice and well-equipped kitchen area. In Spangereid, you can eat at «Under», the world's only underwater restaurant. At Båly, you can rent boats, we also recommend a trip through the Spangereid Canal. The fishing village Korshavn is located approx. 20 km. away, here you can rent a boat to Sælør or take part in arranged fishing trips. “Sørlandsbadet” (swimming pools etc.) in Lyngdal is popular for families with children, and at Skrelia approx. 12 km from Lyngdal, you can enjoy great hiking trails. Kvåsfossen salmon center approx. 10 km from Lyngdal direction Snartemo is also worth a visit.

Great opportunities for canoeing and kayaking in the area, the boats can be set out 50 meters from the holiday home. Opportunity to fish for mackerel, saithe, cod, and crabs. Short distance to Kragerø, Langesund and Jomfruland National Park, as well as sightseeing boat trips from the Marina. The coastal path goes right by the house and is a fantastic walk, where you pass the Trolldalen fort. There are several outdoor restaurants within walking distance to the house. On the pier, it is possible to charge an electric car. 9-hole golf course in Bamble just 3.7 km away. Feel free to pay a visit to the Telemark Canal as well. About 2 hours to Sommarland in Bø.
