The trail is demanding and steep the last part, but the view from the mountain top over Helgeland's large archipelago is magnificent and must be experienced. Good starting point for day trips by car, to the coastal town of Brønnøysund and the tourist attraction Torghatten in the north or by car ferry to the island of Leka with its special, red mountains.
