Halden is a summer town with tourist attractions such as a guest harbor, Fredriksten fortress and Northern Europe's highest locks. The area offers great hiking areas and varied nature experiences. It is also a short drive to Sweden with border trade and the town of Strømstad. 9 km away is a great climbing park: Climbing on the border. By boat or car, it is only a short drive to restaurants or other activities. A canoe for adults and a kayak for both adults and children is included. In addition, a rowing boat, SUP board and surfboard can be used. A boat with a motor can be rented. Fishing equipment can be rented directly from the owner. In Leksvik center you will find shops, restaurants, etc.
