Welcome to this idyllic red cottage with white knots - a place where peace and harmony meet classic Swedish rural charm. A fence separates the plot from the busy road and a large part of the lovely garden is fenced for smaller dogs and for child safety. Walking paths in beautiful nature with forests, meadows and along waterways are just around the corner and make your stay scenic. The house offers a warm and inviting atmosphere with a living room for shared moments around the dining table and on the sofa in front of the TV with the possibility of streaming from your own channel selection. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and also has a wood stove that provides pleasant warmth and increased coziness but should be used with caution. A staircase leads you to the upper floor which has a hall with a balcony door for airing only. Double bed in the bedroom with a beautiful open fireplace to enjoy and another TV. In the adjacent room there is another double bed. This is a passage room that leads into the next room with a height-adjustable single bed for maximum comfort. These two bedrooms only have a curtain between them. The upper floor has a fresh toilet with sink. The bathroom with a bathtub is in the basement where a narrow staircase leads you through a room with a washing machine. Several places around the house have outdoor furniture for a relaxing moment. On the leafy back of the house there is a wooden deck with a charcoal grill and dining table furniture to enjoy meals at. Skärsjön, only a few kilometers from the accommodation, is a popular swimming spot with a jetty, outdoor gym and barbecue area. Many lakes in the area are available for those interested in fishing but require a fishing license that can be purchased from a local agent. The nearest sea bathing is in Nättraby a quarter of a drive south. From here you can also take the archipelago traffic boats out among the islands and to the naval town of Karlskrona center. In Karlskrona, the Marine Museum is an experience for both children and adults. An excursion to Barnensgård with a water slide, games and outdoor activities is recommended for families with children. In the area there are flea markets to visit and farm stands selling meat and accessories to take home or eat on site.

Here, with Alnaryd Nature Reserve as your nearest neighbor, you have access to your own boat in the lake, which you can both swim and try your luck at fishing in. Enjoy forest walks with berry and mushroom picking that provide fantastic and much-needed recovery on vacation. From the wood-fired sauna, which you get the wood for yourself, you have a view of the lake and just a few meters from a cooling dip from the jetty. Several furnished patios and also a pergola protected by plants to enjoy shared meals on or a relaxing moment with a book.The garden is full of exciting environments to discover such as rocks to climb on and small hiding places for those who want to play and get active, however, children need to be kept under supervision given the busy road and lake location. The house has been carefully renovated and has thus retained its contemporary interior in both beautiful colors, wallpaper and furniture. Stairs inside the entrance lead you to the upper floor with a furnished hall and two bedrooms. One bedroom with three single beds and one bedroom with a double bed which also has wonderful views of the garden and the lake. Downstairs is the kitchen with all the possibilities for self-catering. The room inside with dining room furniture provides space for everyone around the table and also an adjacent living room with an additional dining table, armchairs and sofa bed for two people. In the hall at the front of the house there is an entrance to the fresh bathroom with washing machine and shower. There is also an outside door here that leads out to the veranda for a cup of coffee in the sun. Another walk-through room with a sofa in front of the tiled stove provides lovely warmth and increases the coziness factor even more in this fantastic house. Here, relaxation can really come by just enjoying the proximity to the lake and nature. Skärsjön's swimming area with sandy beach and pier is less than 10 minutes away by car. Grocery stores and other services are just over a quarter of an hour from the house, but for more activities and attractions, it is recommended to make an excursion to Karlskrona or Ronneby, which takes about half an hour by car. Two beautiful cities with a lot of history and daily trips with the archipelago traffic out among the islands. Welcome to the Garden of Sweden, Blekinge!
